    I Can hentai

Is it like the opposite of BL? Girl’s love?
  2. trying to find a good chatroom like AFF only on discord, for like Erotica writers. But jesus christ. Why? Why would an erotica chat channel forbid talking about controversial stuff?! I feel like that’s all I ever talk about!

  3. IKR? I’ve been going as “Chloe” online since I was 13. I’m 32 now. Hearing people call me by my real name feels super weird by now.
  4. Wooooh! I finished a short story!

It was meant to be my entry for the AFF Halloween thingy, but it ended up running a little long. Of course it’s not out of the wordcount limit or even close to it, 7.5k is too long for me so either I’ll suck it up and put it in the anthology as is, or if I manage to write another entry, I’ll split this one into a two-parter and post it normally.

Eeeee I’m just happy I finally finished something! Yay!

You can make it a multi-parter across years… it’s been done before.  ie, post the first part (a complete story, btw), this year, and post the second part next year.  I’ve done a sequel in before (ie, The Phone, and The Phone II).

If only I had that kinda patience, lol

  5. When I was into fanfiction, I went by Chlover. But then drama happened and I had to leave that persona and fan fiction in general behind real quick so CloverReef was born. But lately that penname has been feeling a little too feminine for me, so I became a plague. Everybody likes plagues, right? But now, since all I write is erotic original fiction, it’s the same on every site.
  6. Oh well in that case, let’s talk about them pesky participle clauses! No, I’m kidding. I’m impressed that you made them up on the spot and managed to make it feel like there’s so much to her. That was well done.
  7. Sometimes, like when it comes to linking to writing and art, I regret filling my facebook friends list with uber russian orthodox catholic family and childhood friends, lol. I can think of a couple who would absolutely 100% read a story if I put it up there, and every one of them would be horrified and try to save my soul. Another reason my twitter isn’t under my real name. They can’t find me there!!!! Woooooh!
  8. Last year was my first year participating, even though I’ve been on this site since… forever. (I feel like I should technically be like an ancient AFF forest spirit by now) I was just finishing up Cold Snap when Halloween rolled around so I was feeling the loss so it came right at the perfect time for me to jump into a oneshot. I have no idea what the promotion factor is on these stories. Like in theory it makes sense that it’s a good way to reach readers you wouldn’t normally reach. But mostly, for me, the Halloween anthology was a bonding experience with the other writers of AFF. Getting little glimpses into everyone’s writing styles and review styles, learning how much DP’s characters hate clothes. Just like a big, AFF-style group hug.
  9. I just discovered the show “Hot Ones” on youtube today. It’s stupid. Just an interview show where they talk while eating progressively spicier wings. Now I can’t stop watching! I’m obsessed. Like I wanna see someone throw a tantrum so bad – someone’s gotta, right?! But Tommy Chong friggin killlled it! Best eppie yet.

...and now I want some hot spicy wings.

Ikr? But… you know… not like liquid rage spicy. Just… jalapeno spicy.

  10. Speaking of which, its time for me to start thinking of my halloween entry! TY DP
  11. I don’t promote mine either. I’m not proud of this, I just am not comfortable with self-promotion. I wish I did more of it. Wattpad requires promoting which is why I stopped posting there, but it offers methods with which to do it. Reading groups and whatnot. I guess that would be an option. I’ve created a twitter account with the intention of giving writing updates, but somehow it ended up being a political account instead, lol, since I didn’t tell any readers I might have that it exists. I feel like there should be one good place to reach everyone out there who’s interested, but if there is, I haven’t found it.
  12. I don’t think that’s lame at all. Like lizards that can grow their tails back? And immunity is awesome as it is, but doubly awesome in a zombie apocalypse.
  13. Ugh isn’t that the worst, when the words on paper just aren’t cooperating? That would be a handy super power, especially during a particularly nasty bout of writers block.
  14. Yaaas! Let shit happen! Might I also add to that, let good and bad things happen to other characters? Our lives aren’t always about us. Sometimes we get involved in other people’s shit and we’d be douchebags if we went around making all that other stuff all about us. But maybe your character is a douchebag, so they make things all about them, which is fine, just make sure the surrounding characters react accordingly, and don’t all rip off their clothes on sight and throw themselves at the douchebag.
  15. Sooo tired of thinking up names for characters. Time to start writing with variables instead.

AFF, I am pleased to introduce you to the new stars of my stories: X, Y, and Z.

  16. Review for Cold Snap. **SPOILERS** (Just in case, lol) @Sinfulwolf Wow, that’s the mother of all reviews. I’m going to address the critiques first, since like I think most writers, that’s what we tend to internalize most. It’s been over a year since I wrote this, so as much as I want to comment on Iddy’s desire to reason with the beast, I probably shouldn’t. When I go over it again, I’ll keep it in mind. I completely agree that the protagonists are not heroes. Definitely not to the city that was so terrorized. They were in love, but at a high cost to everyone around them. I think Iddy comes less from a place of selfishness and more from a place of thinking he can fix someone who has no intention of being fixed. Ben and Nathan did connect too quickly. I think my writing skill failed a little at that last part because they weren’t supposed to connect. Ben was never comfortable with the monster, and Nathan never gave a shit about Ben, but made an effort to connect just to make Iddy happy. That epilogue will definitely need some work in the future. I’ve noticed you’re good at cutting right to the heart of the problem. I like that. Thank you. Onto the rest! I’m glad the sex scenes actually served some purpose other than just a commercial break style rut. I tend to easily bore of the steamies if they don’t further the plot or character development in some interesting way. Shame; I used to enjoy PWPs lol. So it’s good to know I was somewhat successful. It irked me when Ben called Guillory a bitch too. Thank you so much for the thorough, helpful review. After a year and dozens of failed attempts at a new story, it’s nice to get some encouraging feedback. <3 It was a nice break from my editing frenzy too.
  17. Yaas! Omg so did I. When I first got into Tekken fanfiction and didn’t know how the internet worked, I thought I was gonna make myself a huge archive like FF net. I actually convinced a bunch of fan fic authors to post on my super tacky site.
  18. I was a kid. It was like 1997 or 1998 and I was kinda exploring the internet for the first time. Found some websites for my favourite (at the time) TV show, Breaker High (A canadian high school drama) and lo and behold, one of the sites had fics on it! I didn’t know wtf fan fiction was, so I read those fics thinking they were like transcripts of episodes. I thought I had watched every episode there was so I was super excited that they didn’t sound familiar. And then they got dirty. That’s when I kinda realized that these ‘episodes’ did not uphold the Canadian Broadcast Co. standards. Then I realized if other people could write that shit, so the hell could I! With my newfound godly powers, I impregnated the whole cast of characters, because… well, because I could. Yup.
  19. My bills and important documents aren't organized. They're stuffed in a drawer and a box. I just organize the Fuck out of the really important things: smut.
  20. I used to write out some stories and type out others. Like some stories just needed that pen and paper feel. I’ve been using my notebooks less and less often as the years go on. At this point I write maybe half a page in a notebook every now and then, just to get a conversation or idea down I don’t want to forget, but otherwise I don’t write whole scenes on paper anymore like I used to. I don’t really think it’s a bad thing. It’s just the way my writing is evolving for better or worse. Writing with a pen and paper is slower. It takes longer to get thoughts out, so for me, it’s not as practical. I think part of the reason I’m leaning away from the practice is because when I feel a pressure of time, I want to be able to write quickly. Haven’t been able to settle down somewhere and really take my time and savour the art. I go straight for the keyboard because I need to type quick. Okay, so now about the organization. I feel very strongly about this, lol. I come from a long line of organizers, and I ALWAYS organize on the computer, because I can back it up, access it easily, and not worry about a relative stumbling onto it. When I was a kid, when I wrote everything on paper, I actually used physical folders and owned a file cabinet for my writings. Yes. A thirteen year old girl who very proudly owned a file cabinet. Deal with it. So here it is, my epic system: Every story has its own folder (Except oneshots and fic starts that didn’t make it into a whole chapter.) I name the folder “Story Name 08 12 2012” ← The numbers are the date it was created. (Because the file properties are unreliable, and I have too many old stories that I’m not sure when I wrote them and it drives me absolutely insane.) Within the story folder I have four files. The file in which I’m doing the writing (This file doesn’t have the complete story as I move chapters out once they’re complete and edited.), a master file (Which has the full story and a duplicate backup on the cloud), A file with scenes I have cut from the main story, and a file with plans/research/profiles/etc (If there’s too much information here, sometimes I will split this file into two, one for plans, and one for research/related info). I love my system.
  21. Thank you so much, Lurker666. I’m glad to know someone’s still enjoying this story. I’ve been working on a bunch of fics, but haven’t completely committed to a single story yet, so hopefully I’ll get something up soon. This review was a much appreciated boost to the morale and motivation, so thanks <3
  22. So that’s why you’re raising these buggers from the dead. Absolutely, start a new topic. I’m curious!
  23. Man you are so much more loyal to your stories than I am. My story graveyard is a spraaawling cemetery full of things I’ve completely given up on.
  24. My new mission in life is to one day start a scene, maybe even a story, with the word ‘Penis’. Thanks guys. We classy.
  25. Dude, you have no idea how much I would like to.
