  1. Here is the member’s profile, if it is the correct user: http://members.adult-fanfiction.org/profile.php?no=45 I checked for a Forum Member under the same name but found nothing, but I can only do a simple search for members. But, we do not give out user’s emails, so I think your best bet would be to write an email to our TOS email account, at tos_team@adult-fanfiction.org and our archive moderators can then forward that email to the user’s email that we have on file, with your request for them to contact you. Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  2. As far as I know, we are all dedicated to keep the site open for as long as we can. The donations button is just for any of our users who would like to pitch in to help pay for the hosting costs and such of the site. We are not a commercial site (if I understand the definition of that correctly) and we rely on ad revenue to pay costs. So, we are not going to close in the near future, if we can help it. 3. Congratulations, CloverReef! That’s so awesome! Hopefully I’ll have the funds to order it too after the holidays.
  4. We do not allow commissioned stories on the Archive. There is nowhere on the site that says that it’s ok to post stories written for money. We even have banner at the top of the Forum stating this fact in very clear language. We do not allow stories written for money to be posted on the site. The donations is a completely different thing. That’s an option for users to donate money to the running of the sites, as in paying hosting costs and such. That’s entirely voluntary. It has nothing to do with the stories written on the site. Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  5. Yes, that’s perfect. And when you create a Review Response thread in the appropriate Fan Fiction sub forum, you can add a link to that to your original post. We discourage any kind of discussion about the story on this thread, but you can add a reply here whenever you add a new chapter. Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  6. Please include the form required for the Promote a Story forum. It can be found in the pinned post at the top of the forum. Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  7. Forum profiles need to be approved by our forum admin who lives in a Pacific time zone, so you’ll have to wait for him to take a look at this to answer your question. Please give it 24 to 48 hours for him to get back to you. Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  8. Archive profile has been deleted, forum profile needs to be deleted too, @Melrick
  9. We do not allow pictures of any kind, especially not of a sexual or explicit nature to be posted outside of the Art Forum as per the rules explained here: http://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/topic/66222-can-i-upload-pornographic-pictures-to-the-forum/ Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  10. Unfortunately our admin is the only one who can create new categories, and she has been insanely busy IRL this year, so new category requests have backed up quite a bit. But, I will pin this post for her attention and hopefully she’ll be able to create the new categories in the near future. And please, if you find more stories that fit the categories requested, add them to this post too. We highly appreciate all the help we get from our users when it comes to things like this. Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  11. Is this supposed to be a Challenge/Request for a story containing this element? Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  12. You are allowed to use this thread to discuss ideas for the story, if you intend to write a story based on this challenge. Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  13. As is mentioned at the top of the site: Asking for payment is therefore not allowed either. Any and all further mentions of payment for fan fiction will be deleted on sight and could result in official reprimand. Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  14. As is mentioned at the top of the site: Asking for payment is therefore not allowed either. Any and all further mentions of payment for fan fiction will be deleted on sight and could result in official reprimand. Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  15. Lucius-Walker, thank you for the warning. I have removed the links in question, both from the original post and from your quoted post. Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  16. Why do you keep bringing this up, then? No one on this site is getting paid for anything. Not even us staff are getting paid. We’re volunteers. Both the sites are free to use. It is illegal to profit from fan fiction writing, and we don’t allow commissioned stories in Originals either. So, stop bringing it up.
  17. This is not a question for the staff. We know that your membership has been approved. This is something that you put into a status update, or in the Introduce yourself thread. I suggest that you now take the time to explore the forums, get acquainted with how the forums, your profile and all that works. And only then start to post in the relevant forums and topics. Also, when you post new topics in any of the forums, give them a title relevant to the topic, not just “message 006”. This isn’t some kind of a message board. Willow Darkling, forum moderator.
  18. It is still on AFF, although it has fallen victim to the black diamonds in the text glitch. Time to Rest by Inell And here are two links with suggestions about how to solve the black diamonds issue: http://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/topic/64027-black-diamonds-in-stories/ http://www2.adult-fanfiction.org/forum/topic/64151-how-to-fix-the-black-diamond-issue/
  19. Honestly, at this point, I’m thinking that you’re just a little troll.
  20. It was a few years ago, and it was heavy enough that we got rid of the feature in an upgrade to our system. And according to what BronxWench has told me, yes. It has to do with copyrights also. It is illegal to profit from fan fiction. That’s the simple answer.
  21. I do believe that BronxWench already answered that the reason is because we had something like a rating system which was heavily abused and therefore we removed it, and do not want to bring it back.
  22. The forum application form is quite simple. Shouldn’t take more than a minute to complete, really. I just checked on it, and it’s really simple.
  23. We’re not planning any updates to the forum in the near future, so you can suggest it, but that’s all we’ll do with that.
