    Error to change pfp.

And it makes it easier for users to quickly recognise and avoid whatever horrific crime against fiction I’ve committed! Everyone’s a winner :)

  2. TBH, having the pictures match is likely a good thing for users recognizing the author of their favorite (or least favorite) stories, when browsing the forums.

  3. Good explanation! Just to add my tip: If users don’t want to link offsite they can load their 250x250 (or smaller) userpic direct as a forum userpic first, and then use the forum userpic link for the archive profile. It’s worked for me for years! It does mean the forum and archive userpic are the same, but I don’t mind using the same on both.

  4. All you need is a link to an image that you like. Go to a site that has an image you like, then right click that image; In the options you should see "Copy Image Link", click that. Now just paste that link into the box, and that should show the image that you want, after you click “save” at the bottom. This is mine for example. -- Remember it has to be small enough to fit the 250 pixel limit, I recommend using preview images or thumbnails, these will usually fit. -- Also be aware, the site doesn't allow a picture of a real person, so no personal photos.
