I’m so relieved the Christmas anthology is going well. I feel bad for being semi MIA for it last year. You guys are awesome! My gorgeously talented AFF family! Rock on, guys!

Nothing starts your day off much better than a warm and fuzzy review of a story that has been out for a while and that the reader gets the core concept...

Laevi here, with an update about my life. In short: it has been way too busy and stressful. But, I am still writing :) Just not posting. I finally found time to set up my laptop and I hope to have a true office soon, then I can be more active again. We have plans to start our own company and that will give me much more creative space. Hopefully, next summer. Fingers crossed because I am completely fed up with my dayjob. I have something like 10 new stories with the Wolves ready, let me see what I can do in the upcoming weeks, I would love to share them, if people are interested!

Ok, to change avatar you go into your own profile and there’s a little square that appears on the default avatar, bottom left corner of the default user pic square. Click this to bring up the upload option. On a previous version of the forum you needed a minimum number of posts to change the avatar, set the text below your name and so on. Don’t know if this is still the case. But, yes, load your picture there, then when loaded click on it to bring it up, right click for the link and then paste the link to the copy loaded on the forum to the archive and it should work just peachy. PS – that Ice Cream parlor theme is going to haunt my nightmares.

It’s entirely possible that the author got more negative comments, and decided to remove the story. Unfortunately, the links in my records don’t work, either, so I can’t see an author name. I was hoping I might be able to find more information that way—sometimes authors leave notes on their profiles about why they removed a story. But there’s literally nothing in the forum except this request and the notation about the flame review on the story. No review reply threads come up, no recommendations, nothing.

Let me see what I can find out for you. I’m actually having the same issue, and it’s frustrating. (But we need more Cullen around here, so I’m motivated.)

btw, I haven’t vanished. I needed a break from originals, and have been working on my Harry Potter story, which I plan to work on until I need a break from it. (btw, my main Potter story is on AO3 [adult] and FFN [clean], under the pen name “Dragon Voldemort”) I did submit Halloween and two Holiday stories this year, so there is new material, in this universe.
