I’m patiently waiting for that story. In fact, I hope you can find your muse again, so that you can go on writing all those incredible stories you used to write, Pippychick (Some of them with Tafkab / BronxWench). Of course, glowing praise is awesome lol But some well-meaning concrit is useful and I’d never turn it down. My fave is when a reader notices and mentions a particular part I’m proud of coming up with. Other than that, I pretty much agree with all the other posts here

The title says it all. You know what sucks? Spending hours and hours toiling away at a story that you know will A. never make you any money and B. is taking time away from, you know, all the other important things you should probably be doing besides describing Severus Snape's balls, to the point where you think the only reason you still do it because deep down, you're some kind of weird masochist and you must have serious problems. Then all of a sudden, you get a review, and the clouds part. As a fellow writer, I get you. Since I have some free time on my hands, and I want to liven the forum up a bit, I'll review any story you throw at me. I like originals the most, but I'll review fanfiction too. If I am unfamiliar with the fandom, I'll review the writing style and sex scenes. Regarding my tolerance level of sex: Lol. Take your best shot. I like it graphic. I went to a funeral service today for a young man who died unexpectedly. He was one of the truly good souls. I was honored to know him, and the world is a sadder place without him. May his god hold him close, until we all meet again.

That seems to be how it is for me at times, climb into bed, and suddenly, my mind’s racing. I’ll get up, write it down (because it just came up with a good idea), climb back into bed, only to come up with another idea…. Or, wake up early, mind’s racing, so I can’t get myself to go back to bed. I do try carrying a notebook around, just to jot down ideas when they do come.

Every so often my muse and I get along and I can write for a while. Other times, the muse might as well be the sun shining through the blinds while I’m trying to sleep after a sleepless insomniac night. “Go away. We’ll play later!” If only inspiration didn’t have a habit of hitting me right when I’m dead tired and finally resolving to sleep for a while..

I knew you were doing it wrong. You gotta learn how to alternate hands.
