AMAdams Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Slight clairification:Nub or nubs = Nipples and can either be male or female, I suppose the female clit can be refered as a nub too, but I suggest you indicate location of it, so as not confuse the reader. Bits and pieces, can also be another name for male genitalia, I have never heard it used to refer to female parts. Calanthee a man of parts, and at your service PS Naughty Naughty Potterites, I knew Harry road the broom for a reason, as for the Cauldren/cup, such objects have alway been pagan symbols for the female aspect in Magick! I didn't even think of calling nipples "nubs", but you are quite right. Best to give location to avoid confusion. "Bits" is something I picked up from a British slang site ages ago and refers to genitalia in general. It is sorta a regional thing, I guess. [grins at the postscript] At least someone caught the double usage for "cauldron" and why it works for HP. To further that image, one could say anything that is receptive (cup or bowl off the top of my head) can be used for a woman's downstairs entrance. ~A. Adams Quote

Calanthee Posted September 1, 2010 Author Report Posted September 1, 2010 A childish word for penis that I heard a lot growing up was peebird not that anyone's going to use Plot ideas available for adoption Might make a Nice nick for a uke... Poor little Mikey, Yes , we call him Peebird, because he kept pulling it out and waving it around in the most unlikely place, he even liked to take a leak, as we all watched. And then there is this was this sweet willing little girl, who got completely turned on when she was around a group of lovely girls, and many time they cought her with her hand down her pants, we called her Cunny, but she didn't seem to mind and she went off with any girl that asked her. Rothelena Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 I put this link in another post, but it seems to fit in here: The Erotic Thesaurus LV WOW, that's a GREAT list!!! I bookmarked it, it will come in handy in the future, I'm sure... thank you! Quote
DirtyHaven Posted September 30, 2012 Report Posted September 30, 2012 I put this link in another post, but it seems to fit in here: The Erotic Thesaurus That'll come in handy, thanks! This topic is in place, when I was writing, I felt like I was repeating myself with the terms. I'd be interested in learning more terms for vagina and the labia, something figurative and erotic romance novel like (for example, at one point I used "sanctum" for vagina). Quote
Leania Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 (edited) Wow, many thanks to lucretziathevagabond for that link; I'm bookmarking that! I do have trouble coming up with terms/words that aren't over used, 'slang', or just sound goofy. I'm great at innuendo's but then again if my mind is in the gutter something like, "That's a smooth ride" is suddenly sexual even if I know we're talking about the shocks on the car (my husband loves me for that). I feel even worse because I took a Medical Terminology class in college yet my recollection is shot. However I'll add a few terms I use (and read): folds: also a substitution for labia (majora or minora) love button: substitution for clitoris petals: substitution for labia (majora or minora) slit: can be used as description for either labia majora, though mostly used reference to the meatus. A lot of the other terms have already been suggested or are rather 'crude' terms and/or slang. I need to dig out my erotica book. *edit: I did have a question; can anyone clear up what mewling and keening are? Is it similar to a whine noise and used as a substitution for the term? Thanks.* Edited March 6, 2013 by Leania Quote
Cuzosu Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 *edit: I did have a question; can anyone clear up what mewling and keening are? Is it similar to a whine noise and used as a substitution for the term? Thanks.* Mewling: Verb (esp. of a baby) Cry feebly or querulously; whimper. (of a cat or bird) Mew: "the mewling cry of a hawk". Typically used to describe a person whimpering repeatedly, at least in sex scenes. Keening: Verb Wail in grief for a dead person; sing a keen. Make an eerie wailing sound. The second one is a better description for sexual use, obviously. It is, essentially, a wail that would disturb others who might be nearby. Quote

SparkyMuse Posted May 1, 2017 Report Posted May 1, 2017 0.0 To be fair…. although I’m a very squeemish/shy person when it comes to sexual matters, and don’t know too much about it at all…...I just wanted to say, I find it funnier/better to use puns when writing, depending what you’re writing. Referencing the source material if possible or the situation people find themselves in, while I don’t think it’s always clever, can make for a better sex scene in several cases. That said, while I have heard most of the words here that I saw while skimming through as a quick glance, and do use them on occasion, I also find I have certain speech patterns I find hard to break. Knowing them might not make too much a difference if a person isn’t actively trying to find ways to use them. I’ve certainly fallen into a rather repetitive pattern with my usages, far as I can tell. mastershakeme 1 Quote

This whole topic is hysterical! I keep thinking I’m writing these amazing sex scenes and then I go back and I’m like ‘I actually think that would hurt!!! That wouldn’t even feel good!’ Omg! Half the time I feel naughty writing all this balls-to-the-wall sex, but it sorta kinda gets me in character and even though I’m blushing at first I usually end up throwing dirty words around like no-ones business. I’m going to try using some of these helpful words next time lol!!! SparkyMuse 1 Quote
