Yeah, he had made comments about the Joker being the hardest role he ever did and I guess his mind was running full tilt and he couldn't sleep so he got some sleeping pills. But if it is what caused his death, I would have no doubt in my mind that the sleeping pill that he took would be removed from the market fast. Beth

From the commericals I have seen of The Dark Knight, the Joker that Heath played was crazy more crazier the Jack Nickelson's protrayal and that might have been the reason he was taking the pills to help him sleep, he took one sleeping pill and he was awake an hour later after falling asleep. And there was reports of this sleeping pill making people forgetful so it could have been caused by that pill. Watch the FDA yank the pills approval and the stores yank that pill off the pharmacies' shelves immediately once it is revealed it was the cause of Heath's untimely passing. Beth

I would report her to MSN on all of her accounts. Tell them you are underage to have sex and she's offering to get me a ticket to her home country and I know what the payment she would want from me and can you please help me? They'll help you by deleting her accounts that you report. Beth

What you do is this, open a new window, with it you go to your userpanel and like you are uploading a new story bring up the new story page, put testing this in the boxes that you need to have up, along with the disclaimer box to the warnings part, go to each one that you are going to use, click what you need posted, click the button and put in this is a test only. will be deleted shortly. And click publish. Return to your author page and there you will have the warnings you didn't have up in your previous story. Copy and then paste it into your summary part on your story and click save and you done it. That's how I did it. Beth

More Questions About Brazilian Life/culture/landscape
Solaris replied to shinigamiinochi's topic in Writers' Corner
I can see a werewolf swimming the Amazon river, he may end up down further then he planned but he could swim across it. Beth -
The police talked with the woman who found him, she told them that he was still alive when she came into the room to let him know his massuse was there he was snoring! And a few minutes later she went into the room to get him up he was not snoring anymore and was cold to the touch so this may be one of those deaths that is going to end up as a mystery. Beth

Naps is a good thing in our case. I would nap in the afternoon hours and just when you are drifting into deeper sleep, RING!, the phone rings and you wake up immediately to answer it to hear the voice of one of your friends calling you about a story that you had just posted to the net and wanted to talk about it. Needless to say, I didn't say anything to her about that she had awakened me from a nap and she talked for two hours. TWO FUCKING HOURS! And she caused me to have yet another headache, which after taking two asperins it is still fucking here! Well, needless to say I ended up staying up instead of drifting back to bed after hanging up, didn't go to bed till about 3:30am and woke up at 8am. Hopefully, I will be able to get a nap in later today and not be interrupted by anyone. Beth

I knew him when he did the Fox show called Roar, now he was a hottie back then and was one still. Just the flick of his head could make me swoon. I never got to meet him but the movies that he starred in will now be hot sellers. Beth

I'm a very open minded reader, I never really wrote M/M, till sometime in 2004 my co-writer and I started to write a story and suddenly I found myself writing M/M action and it turned me on, writing that stuff, I have hinted M/M action but never did it graphically till that year. I ended up liking it and several of my stories that I have written to date are M/M stories. If you go into a story that is marked M/M, you must have an open mind about it and not there to flame or bash unless you are the type of person who does that because they hate gay people or that pairing that is in the story itself. Do You Think She Is Too Sueish?
Solaris replied to Solaris's topic in Original Character Development
No attachable limbs nor do I weigh 475 pounds. I'm glad it doesn't sound too Mary Sueish to you, some people think she is just because of the limbs ALA Edward Elric of Full Metal Alchemist. Beth -
I have a character that I am writing and I have her profile up but I'm not sure if she is sueish or not. I don't think she could be but I would like some help in seeing if she is or not and if so how to make her into a non sue. This is my Transformers 2007 movie-verse OFC Tama's bio. Full Name: Tama Fynn Age: 37 Height: 2" without her legs attached, 5"10 with her legs attached. Weight: 50 pounds without her other parts attached to her. 475 pounds with her parts attached to her body. Nickname: Mechanical freak (she's called that by other humans) Robot/Human: Human with a twist, she has limbs of a robot but for one arm. Likes: The Autobots, horses and the few humans she can trust with her strange form. Dislikes: Almost all humans. Being called names. Pet Peeves: Being called a mechanical freak or in other words, being called names. Good habit: She will give her trust to those who she feels is worthy of having her trust. Really good at tongues and rebuilding cars as a hobby. Worst habit: Being fully dressed in a long to the floor length jacket even in the summer months. Being very snappish towards most humans who she doesn't trust very well. Employment: An agent for Sector 7, later on in the stories becomes a diplomat to the planet Cybertron. Background: She's a linguist for Sector 7 since she was 20 years old, fluent in Egyptian, Latin, Greek and French, other then English. Was brought into the ranks of Sector 7 to translate the markings on the Cube. She didn't know how to translate the markings on the robot, they transferred her to the cube after telling her how they came to possess both items. Her presence at the Cube didn't make the other workers very pleased and they tried to get her fired by doing various childish stunts like making her late to meetings and hiding her notebooks that she would use to write down the markings and tell her that it's at the ground level and various other stuff. A month after she started working there, she had a very bad accident and the Cube 'came alive' to save her but in the process shocked her and destroyed both her legs and left arm to the point where the doctors had to remove them or have her die from gangrene. She is the beta tester for all bionic limbs for the government. Her limbs are in it's final form of robotic looking body parts as she didn't want it to look human, as she feels because of what happened to her, she might as well look different. She can speak about six different tongues as good as you can without many mistakes, but two tongues she can do fluently - English and a strange tongue that no human should know Cybertron, which she gained the knowledge of speaking it by the Cube, but no one knew that it was the Autobots' tongue till 2007 when they arrived on the planet and the members of Sector 7 found themselves standing in front of a live robot Bumblebee. She's also able to rebuild her limbs if needed but she would call on Sector 7, to help maintain her limbs. She spent the next 20 years till 2000 working on the Cube and the robot Sector 7 had frozen, till she decided not to return to the Hoover Dam complex stating she couldn't work there no more, that she wants to concentrate translating the Cube's tongue away from those who would bring her to distraction. She didn't inform her employers that her co-workers were making the work enviroment tough on her because of the new form she has, which resulted in her having a sense of disgust with other humans, she can and will tolerate humans to a point but she prefers to be alone then with other humans. She's mostly a hermit, to where only twice a month she would be seen by others as a normal human by wearing gloves and a long jacket on her body and pants to hide her robotic limbs, which she wears all the time except to bed. When the Autobots came to this planet and needed a place to hide out, her land was what they picked to remain on. She likes their company the best to anyone else at first, then she starts to get used to hanging with their human friends and she begins to let her hate of humans go. With the appearance of the Autobots, the government privately enlisted her to be a diplomat to Cybertron's citizens the Autobots since she is the only one who can speak their tongue but privately wants to learn where the planet is so a space mission could be launched to 'rape' the planet of its technology for making sentiant robots. Is that too Mary Sue or should I work on her some more? Beth

I love this battle mod game! Let the hunt begin! Beth

Oh, I like these. These are great! Perfect for the forum, after all most of us are writers, yes? I vote for these. Beth

I have no idea why these two just seem to be so gay with the fans, but I love seeing any story that has them together. It seems that both men have been hurt before and I can tell that they favor each other's presense more then any of the others, except when it comes to Harry. They are there for him like two Godfathers wanting to aid their Godson who never had the real love of a father raising him from a baby. So what do you think about this pairing? Beth

A Thank You to all You Ladies Who Pee on the Seat
Solaris replied to Shinju's topic in Personal Rants & Journals
I don't know but it does sound like it would work or maybe not. Beth -
I agree with you two on Yachiru and Kenpachi. Maybe when she's older but even then I doubt it. He treats her like a daughter and probably would still treat her such as an adult. I do not like Renji/Ichigo or Ichigo/Ishida. I think they are more friends then lovers. And Renji/Byakuya they would probably rather fight then go into bed with each other. Beth

For me, when I was growing up, people mistook my own tongue as a French accent, and I have never been to France nor born there! But during the 1993, I spent time with some British fellas, hung out with members of the British band Def Leppard. Knew them on a very personal level to the point where Joe called my home. I could understand their tongue easily and they understood my own tongue. When I got home and went to the mall the next day after visiting with them, I was asked if I was visiting from Britain because my accent turned British on me without me even noticing. So I guess you could say my favorite accent would be British and Irish. Beth

There are people out there who finds editing their work is a chore and won't do it and leave their story as is. But there are people who love editing their work. I usually find that people who love their work, will edit their work after a break of a few days. On one of my stories that I wrote, it took me four years before I edited it to add new content and do a correction of sorts on a character, I liked the story when I first wrote it, but now, I love it! I even edited last year to add a new scene to the story and I love it even still. So some people may find their editing of their work to be a chore, but some will love it. Beth

Here I am - in my pants.

I've added more to the article. You always see people role-playing online either on an archive site or a forum meant for role-playing. Role-playing is a fun and easy way to escape your real life for a while to a world of your own. But if you do not know what role playing is, this article will help you with that. Role-playing is where you create a character and create a life for the character and go into a story-like setting with one or more people on a forum or an archive site. So, if you are interested in role-playing, just follow these simple rules and you should get along smashingly with your fellow role-players. 1. Please do not God mod; that means controlling other people's characters without permission, and powering your way through the role play. If you need to use another character from someone else’s ask first, don’t assume it would be okay for you to use their character for that reason alone you should PM or IM that person for permission to use so and so character for a bit. 2. Please do not make the female character a Mary Sue or if it is a male don’t make him into a Marty Stu. A Mary Sue are characters that is created by the player who is perfect, beautiful and is the main love interest of the main canon character in the show/cartoon or whatever fandom you are in and if the character has any faults of any kind they’ll use it when it makes a good plot twist which means she’ll be saved by her love interest. It is the same with Marty Stu, he’s handsome, perfect and the love interest of the main female canon character in the show/cartoon or whatever fandom you are in and if he has any faults of any kind they’ll use it when it makes a good plot twist which means he’ll be saved by her love interest. That will surely turn people away in the middle of the role-play and they will not want to continue with the role-play with you. 3. Never post one-liners! This is usually just one sentence of what your character is doing. Posting dialogue is not an excuse for a one-liner. If you are stuck on what to do next, IM or PM the originator of the role-play and ask them for help. They will help you. 4. To avoid one-liners, consider including these elements in your post : - Your character's speech, if speech there be. - Your character's actions. This can include complicated actions, as in a fight, or simple actions, as in a gesture or facial expression. - Your character's thoughts. Be reserved with this one, though. Don't over-do it. Remember, the other characters probably don't know what yours is thinking. - General observations, such as the movement of leaves or other things in the setting. Again, don't over-do it, and leave other people's characters out of it unless you know them and they trust you. 5. Please double check your spelling and grammar before posting--you don't want your fellow Role-Players to spend an hour trying to figure out what you wrote. 6. This doesn't hurt to repeat it. Please do not God mod. 7. Listen to other people's opinions, especially the ones running the role play. 8. Give your character a reason for being there (wherever "there" is). People who turn up randomly and bother the other players for attention are really annoying. 9. Don't over-punctuate. Never use an exclamation mark where a period will do. Avoid multiple punctuation marks, and, if you simply must have more than one of something, never ever use more than three. More is redundant and annoying. 10. On a similar note, avoid typing in ALL CAPS (unless your character is the Death of the Discworld or a related entity). "I forgot" is not an excuse. You ought to be re-reading what you type before you post it anyway. 11. If you will have your character just sit in a corner and brood/mope/plot/whatever, don't expect people to go out of their way to include you in the RP, and don't whine about it. If you want to be involved, get involved. 12. When introducing your character, be brief. The other players do not need to know every stitch of clothing or every detail about your character's past. After all, part of the fun of role-play is finding these things out. 13. A tip about spelling: If you have Firefox browser, you can get an add-on that spell-checks what you type into text fields. It's great. You can even add words to the dictionary. 14. One thing, do not throw the role-play off kilter by keeping your character interacting with her or his main interest and not with the rest of the characters in the role-play. Be sure to incorporate the character into the role-play by bringing her or him into the role-play and not hog his or her main interest from interacting with the rest of the characters in the role-play. That will turn people off of continuing the role-play with you or avoid asking you to be a part of another role-play, because you yank your character’s main interest away from the rest of the players if no one has attached them to that character yet. Does anyone else have anything else to add? Thanks, Beth
