Tricky Woo, name calling the techs and the admins is childish behavior and flaming. And you call yourself an adult, when you are acting like a child. You have noticed that all OFC/OMC catagories are now gone. They were not removed carelessly, they were merged into the het catagory male/female cats. We have been working extremely hard to keep the databases running smoothly and there is no crashes to the site, if that meant removing the OFC/OMC catagories and putting them in the Het <male/female> cat then that is the site owner and the techs decision. And we get this from you. Well, EXCUSE ME, for caring about the database and the site itself. I'm sorry that the OFC/OMC cats are gone. Guess what? I am sad to see them go myself as I loved them as well as I was the one who got them up on the site the first time around. He managed to con the courts into giving him his first term into office, which Gore should have won. The other time, he used the war to win re-election. I lost a total of 30 pounds since I started on my diet back on Feb 27th, 2008. I now weigh 218 from 248. This was the weight that I weighed back in 2001, when I was on it before I quit. I am doing really good on this and I have a good goal to look forward to, being in my best friend's wedding in 2010 and by then, I hope by then, I'll be down to 160 pounds. And by how everything is going, I may be at that goal by the end of this year or in Feb of next year. Beth

The summery has a character limit of 250 characters, which I'm sorry to say also includes the warnings. Most of the time, I can get away with a small summary and have a bigger one in the story itself, in the disclaimer. One of my stories was recently reviewed and this was the review: I am not sure wether or not to take it as a snub of the story or what? I have received flames for my stories but not any of the stories that I did in this one catagory and I'm not sure what to think about this review. Is this a snub or a light hearted flame? I agree with you. The other religious people do not try to force their religion down people's throats and yet they do. It just makes them look bad that they are not true to the bible's teachings of love thy neighbor nor respect others for they will respect you. Oh by the way, I'm pagen and I never force my religion down anyone's throat who is not interested in what I do. And I do believe that the Bible is a group of fictional stories that was in the middle east for a long time before they jotted it down on paper. Now if there is proof that it is not fictional then I'll say it is non fiction but to me - it is fiction. Beth

I have been trying to get my own book published for the last 13 years. I am actually thinking about going with self publishing as the big publishers are not interested in my Arabian Sheikh story. So you might have to go on the self publishing side to get it published. Beth

Some background information on this person, even though she's not even on the forum, I will not be calling her by any other name but her handle that she goes by. About three to four years ago about a month or two after I got my website up, 'Rave' had posted on the forum that I was on, whining about how she had lost her website host and was looking for a new one. At this time, I was considering hosting other people's sites on my server since I had so much space. I told her and the price it would be at $40 USD yearly(Cheap I know, should have raised her price for all the hassle it took to get her to pay each year) for I'm not sure how much space we gave to her for her site. She paid on time by Western Union to my webtech which she held the money for me till I got up there. We expected her to pay on time and we did at one point in her time with us suspend her account for nonpayment, she paid us the following day in full. We thought that dealt with the late payments and that she would remind herself to pay me. Needless to say for the next two or three years, we had to hound her for payment which would come six months later, in essense she got six months free without paying us and we never included a late payment fee which should have been equal to the payment itself for our hassle of her because we basically had to hassle her for payment. Now fast forward to last night, I spoke with my webtech and I informed her: I am now distancing myself from Rave, I will be associating with her on a business level. My webtech, I know she detected something else in my words, she posted something like this: Thinking about removing her account when the time comes. I said something along the lines of this: Yes, it is time for her to go. She's not paying her bill on time and when she does it is only half of what she owes and says she'll get the rest to me in a fortnight, which really turns into a month or two before she pays. We wrote up a letter together and I sent it off to Rave to inform her that on May 31st, 2008, her website with us would be terminated, please back up your site and start looking for a new host. Needless to say, I got a PM from her forum with her posting this claim, which if she was smart she would have said something to me the night before but she was not interested in talking business with me but wanting me to roleplay: Rave was a roleplayer of the Transformers fandom(with a poorly created character that I called a Sue) and we roleplayed together but I had stopped playing with her sometime in January since I didn't really like the way she was keeping Optimus Prime in the love mode all the time and I was the only one who was sticking to the storyline of the roleplay, she kept his attention to her character. I stopped role playing with her since I knew she would not make her character less Suey or let Optimus be the leader that he is supposed to be and I know Optimus for a much longer time then she did, I did fanfiction on the Mech over twenty some years ago! So you would think that she would be thrilled to have someone who knew how to play him and yet, everytime Rave's character would try to get into his lap, at first I didn't allowed it actaully had him nudge her off of his lap and a stern warning that was not proper behavior, but then I started to be pushed out of playing him to where she was playing him all the time and the storyline that we did went right out the window and she went to having robot smex with Optimus not visible stuff but overtures were there. I ended my roleplaying with her at that time. She never did recreate her character to be less Suey but more Suey. When she got on AIM Wednesday night, she claimed to me that she had just came from the hospital from an attempted suicide event. I wondered why in the world would a hospital release a suicidal person after one day unless it was nothing more then a lie and she was online all weekend and on Monday which would be Sunday here. So the validity of her claim could mostly be false as how could she be on when she's in the hospital for a 72 hour suicide watch? My brother was not even allowed to be out of his room for that long here, unless it is different there, just treat the overdose and send the person home and hope they don't commit suicide. Needless to say, I now doubted her claim as she came onto AIM Monday my time which would be Tuesday her time. All in an attempt at getting me to role play with her, which she succeeded in doing. Needless to say, I have ended my business and my friendship with her, deleted her link to the forum that she does her Sue stories at. I have blocked her account on my AIM account and created a new one for personal friends and AFF staffers to be able to get a hold of me, when they need to talk with me about the site or just to shoot the breeze. I have found out from other people who had once been her friends that Rave would pester them and pester them for roleplay or take up their online time chatting nonsense stuff or roleplay with her and have badly created characters who would hog the main character of the fandom that she's in love with at that time. I am finally glad that I am rid of her in a business and friendly way. Beth

Two nights, I checked my kills to find that there was over 305 kills, checked last night to find my kills were now at 275 and then this evening I noticed that it was now 253? WTH happened in the past two days? My kills are going down. Is this just me or is everyone else being effected by this weirdness? Beth

Thanks everyone! Thanks, I am doing good and I know I can lose more weight, just sticking to it was hard this past weekend, but I did it. I defeated the temptation of having cake by having a salad come to me instead of a peice of cake even though I could have had one and not worried at all about the plan but I knew I lost 20 pounds, I knew if I didn't resist I would fall off the plan and go back to my new high within a week or two. I needed to stay strong and I did. Beth

I lost a total of 24 pounds since I started my eating plan on Feb 27th 2008. woohoo And that includes me going to the gym three times a week exercising for about two hours each day. I think I may hit my goal weight by next year or at least by 2010! 64 pounds to go and who knows I may push my goal weight down by ten pounds and go for my 1993 weight of 150. No, I will not try to go past that weight or I'll be looking like a skeleton or a POW. But I'm so excited! I stuck to my guns at the live show this past weekend when they brought over cake. I resisted the temptation to go have a few peices by calling my dad and whining they have cake help! My dad being the sweetie he is told me he'll be right over with a salad. About fifteen minutes later, he came by with a grilled chicken cesear salad and I dove into that instead of a peice of either chocolate or vanilla cake. Just wanted to share my good news with you all! Beth

More like not closing any of the plot holes till I think Book 6 and that could have easily have been the last book. The seventh really didn't need to be written at all especially if she had allowed someone's child who is a HP fan and swore them to secrecy about the book itself and let them tell her what they thought of it instead of just sending it off like it is. That Endless Camping trip was like the endless writer's block trying to be broken, but what it did was caused nothing to really be happening. I'm sure if someone's HP loving kid had read it before it was published and JK told him or her to give her an honest opinion without fear of hurting her feelings over it, told her that the camping trip was too long, she probably would have shortened it up and talked about the other things that just seemed to be bland, she would have yanked it back and started to rework the story itself to where people would say this is a great end to this great series instead of what a fucking let down for a good series and she would have made sure that characters that she claimed is gay after the fact is revealed in the book but that is not book canon so Dumbledore can remain straight if the fanfiction writers want to keep him straight. Even I would have done that allowed someone to read over my last book and tell me what they thought and I would have told them be harsh with me this is my last book on this series I want it to be memorable for everyone who reads the last book. But what she got was a book that most people want to forget ever was published! Including some of her long time fans wasted no time in getting rid of that book. Beth

I didn't like it at all, it was too long and boring at times to where I actually flipped pages to find something interesting in the endless camping trip. I didn't like it as it was so tedious and too long for my tastes. Beth

If the e-mails were visible like they were in the begining of the site on the review board, it would be easy to get the e-mails of those who requested notification of a new chapter, but because it was changed because someone complained about getting spam, getting e-mails is now a chore and sometimes the readers do not even put their e-mails in their reviews so the author can get their e-mails even when signed in, the e-mails are not there for you to see. So I basically try to hit all the fanfiction lists that is about that fandom that I am writing about to alert them of a new chapter up on the site or another site like my webpage. Beth
