omigawsh D: You said penis! No, I think some of the other words and analogies for anatomy are more shocking because they're used as insults or come across as really rude (maybe the latter is just me). But perhaps some people want to think they have pristine eyes.

You do like polls. My answer was yes. Especially in multicultural countries, which is pretty much all of the western countries, it's a bit silly to have religious laws.

Would you ever perform sexual favors for money?

XD Depending on how you look at it, I sort of already do. ahaha That's mean. -
Yeh sure I guess, though I think he's only ever watched it with me. I might feel insecure about what he's fantasizing of when he watches it, if I think too far into it. Otherwise it's fine. He hasn't exhibited the need (or want) to.

No, but thankfully my lover doesn't feel the need to go to one. Which makes me feel more comfortable, because I'd feel really insecure about it. Why would he need to see other women strip? Why does he need other women period? Yeh so the whole one partner thing is becoming archaic these days and a bit strange of a mentality for someone that never grew up with religious or conservative values (actually quite the opposite). Nevertheless, if my lover ever did feel the need I trust that he'd talk to me about it first and if it really didn't sit well with me (I'd try and talk out the need anyways; am I not being fulfilling enough? Not imaginative? Daring?) I'm sure he wouldn't go. He's a good man, he wouldn't do things behind my back. Thank goodness his parents raised him with favourable values If he ever did do it behind my back, it'd be a huge violation of my trust and would definitely end up in breaking up if we didn't talk it out.

A Thank You to all You Ladies Who Pee on the Seat
RikuDrak replied to Shinju's topic in Personal Rants & Journals
I'm sorry if this seems rude, but your post made me laugh. Not because I'm unsympathetic, but probably just how you worded it. This problem only occurrs in places where the toilet water level in the bowel is higher (which I have only known in the United States, the toilets here in NL don't have a high water level, nor when I visited Istanbul in Turkey, although the bar restrooms in Istanbul were more a glorified hole in the floor), but I agree its damned annoying and disgusting. I never really "hover" for fear of peeing on the seat, unless the toilet really looks that god awful. Always clean up after myself, since I've had that pee-on-the-seat experience before. And I always use those toilet covers if they're provided. -
Ah, Aldatariel, don't feel as if you spurred on this rant because you haven't, so no worries. The fanfic example was simply something that can be easily understood and identified with since this is AFF, as I also meant to include other forms of this behaviour. Another example is when high school teens wander about calling everyone else "posers," whilst being themself something of the same. I agree with this statement. Whenever I manage to read all of a fanfic, I usually give a very honest criticism of what I thought with the good, the bad, and sometimes unfortunately the ugly. But yes, I didn't mean just to single out fanfic writing and fanfic authors. There are also people who swear up and down about the ignorance of some people when they can be quite ignorant in the same manner themselves. I guess it's the most annoying when you can't tell the person about what they don't see about themselves.

Probably. This question is silly to me because I'm living in the Netherlands. It is legal here; certified suppliers and a controlled limit. The answer to legalizing it or not in other countries simply relies on, and might even be largely dependent on, the culture of the country wishing to look into that. Not all cultures would react positively to legalizing a soft drug.

XP Ah bribery, haha. Thanks. Indeed, realistic rape doesn't make for an enjoyable read (to normal people at least) and should, at best, be described without as much detail as one would normally put into writing anything else. It is undoubtedly my personal opinion that rape should not be portrayed in a fantasy way simply because I've managed to encounter some young people who seem to have the wrong idea and say some really stupid things. I think the idea of a role-play fantasy would indeed be a better explanation/truth behind it, however the beginning didn't give much in the way of that portrayel. Nor was there any towards the end. Well actually now that I think of it, if you think of the last lines in a different way it could mean that. Anyways, no problem and you didn't come across as aggressive at all

Whoops read over that. Sorry. *goes to read* Writing it on the story itself as well.

I'm getting sick and tired of classic human behaviour. Sucks, right? 'Cause it's not going to change. Ever. Unless we develop Peter F. Hamilton's Edenism and affinity concept. Actually I'd probably just feel more comfortable with it then. Anyways, have you ever noticed how people always agree with you that some people are not so good in such and such way(s), but it's never them that does any of the stuff you complain about? Even when you can blatantly see they are doing it too. Example: People agreeing that there are horrible fanfic writers on AFF yet when you check their stories they are contributing to the slew of crap-on-a-stick. That bothers me. At least I admit when I might be part of a group people are complaining about, or behave sometimes in the manner someone complains they don't like. Yeh, it rests in a matter of opinions really, but there are some people that really jump over the line's range.

k. Happens. That's what the internet does to some people.
