Make sure you check your spam for folder for the user activation link. If you have not received it, let me know so I can regenerate it. Once you validate on the user level, then you'll be validated on an admin level as a second step. The reason for this two step validation is to prevent spam registration.

I'm looking at your current one in the queue. The issue is the two step validation. You never validated to begin with, so never moved to the admin queue. The forum will automatically DELETE an unvalidated account.

From what I saw, it was a Naruto fic, placed in misc anime. That is why it was deleted. If you intended a crossover, spanning many fandoms, you have to DISCLAIM them so this doesn't happen.

I'm not showing the author as a user at all. Nor am I finding any staff action where the author had been a user.

You also need to be certain you use dashes as the separator. Any other symbol as the separator will make it so you can't proceed.

Thing is, it's set up so your readers don't have to have a forum account to respond to you.

I've not seen any Justified stories posted to the misc categories either. If an author posts a story without a category, that's where they go. I then go through those misc categories and create one for the story and where it belongs and move it. Alternately, authors will post a category req here in forum, email me, and sometimes even find me in IM. In any case, I've never gotten a request to create a category for Justified, nor have I seen any stories for it here.

Well, I pondered doing that here, using the blog option (subscription based) for the forum. Two things stopped me. One, it's a pay for service, and rather pricey. Two, can't figure out how to import all the archive stuff. Yes, when it (IP Blog) was in beta, I did attempt something offsite, to see if that would work as well. Needless to say, both apps crashed.

I'm not showing where I merged the two, as I would have if there were two copies here.

What it boils down to is that people don't like to register, often. If we had registration for every person who visited, whichever part of the site you want to point at, membership in both parts would be at least triple. Then, you have that people don't want to register on another part of the site. If I could bridge the applications, I would bridge the applications. However, they are vastly different from each other in construct, and it won't work. I don't say this as supposition, I say this because I've tried to create a bridge, many times.
