As you all know, the current software doesn't have that capability. But, we already have planned that for a tool in the new stuff. Should make for better search options, at the least.

I agree with Ezriee on how I'd personally react. I know in the past, where I've seen that sort of thing I tend to not leave a review at all. UNLESS they're so whiny about the review thing they just piss me off in general. Then, I get testy. At that point, sure, I'll leave a review, but it won't be what they want, that's for damn sure.

Let me know what the file name is, and I'll see if the upload was successful.

If you double post, not a big deal. A moderator, or admin (me) can come behind you and kill the duplicate. What other things did you want to know? The forum itself has an extensive help section, so you might want to read a bit of that.

You also use naughty points as currency in the casino, to play games in the arcade, and to buy items from the battle store if you like a little mayhem. Kinda need to keep a healthy stock of potions and such if you're not in a guild...

So you all know, part of what we do every day is check for underagers on the site. Bear in mind that for about a year there was only ONE mod actively looking, and at the time she did not have deletion ability. (That would've been pre April 2008). So, we'll go from April 2008 for this then... April through July- 20 found, documented, and deleted. 1 person doing all that. August through current- 103 found, documented and deleted. Many of the 103 repeat returns, but not counted in the total. Mind you, there's still only 6 of us doing this, and only 4 of us are working this daily. The other two have had real life obligations which of course come first, so haven't been available. This doesn't include the old minors that we've been finding throughout the archive. There are quite a few of those as well. What I'm saying is while we look for this all the time, your reports to us certainly help out. EVERY little bit of information we get like that from you members makes it that much quicker for us to find and eliminate that as a problem. Thank you!

She's back again, but this time, I'm placing a one year ban on this user, because of past behavior while she was here as a minor. Not only that, I personally have deleted this user while she underage 10 times altogether. I think that's quite enough.

Archive profile This user returned once under the original name (Kagome313), then came back as Vampire_Angel, and the final return was as noname_angel. The kid is sixteen years old. She does NOT belong here. Yes, we do indeed have stored proof of age....so don't bother coming back until you really ARE 18.

If the cookies refuse to clear still, you're going to have to delete the history, the cookies, all of it. COMPLETELY clean it up using the tools menu. Here's the other thing that you should do, if the above does not work. In your start menu, do the following.. control panel>Network and Internet Connections click-Internet Options The default open is to the "general" tab In the section that says "Browsing History" click Delete Files This should delete all temporary internet data. Now, if THAT doesn't work, one final thing to try In the start menu, go to "My Computer" Right click the displayed icon for your hard drive. Scroll down, and select properties. In the General tab, click Disk Cleanup Where it selects files to clean up, TELL it to delete all temporary internet files. After any of the tasks I've given, you must restart your machine to get the changes to take effect. Now, if any of the above don't work, there is nothing else TO do, other than to change your browser. Should you do that, do NOT let your new browser import cookies from Internet Explorer, as that is where the problem is coming from to begin with. A corrupted cookie file.

Okay, try doing it a bit more indepth. I take it you're using Internet Explorer? That can be tricky to clear cookies from, sometimes. Do it again, only this time delete history, and etc. Then, close the browser. Restart your computer. It may take a few times of doing that, if you're using IE, to actually clear the cookies properly.

The cookie for that needs reset. Clear all your cookies from your browser, close the browser, then restart it.

All you can truly do is ignore this sort of thing. When it happens offsite like this, there is very little any of us can do about it. Whether as users, mods here, or whatever. The most that I would be able to do, for example, as a moderator, is to voice my objections to the moderators of the other site on your behalf, and hope that they did something about it. Now, I CAN do something about it here.

Actually depends on what that bank amount IS. And, if you remember, the store (which is what the bank is part of) has yet to be ported back in after the forum upgrade.

First of all, manta2g did a WONDERFUL job with the new coding additions. And a bit more in the way of cleaning it up more as well. reCAPTCHA- What this does, is prevent spamming. It was a major part of the last forum upgrade, in point of fact. Functions it has been added to, are: Add new story Leave a review By adding it to those two functions, a couple things are accomplished. First and very important, spam bomb attacks like we recently suffered, should not happen any more. Secondly, if an author opts to allow anonymous reviews, they can do so without fear of having their review boards spam bombed. Paginated review boards This is very handy, especially for the authors with 50 or more reviews. I'm sure you've all noticed the closer you get to 100 reviews, the more sluggish the review board behaves. Until it reaches a point to where it won't load at all. By paginating the boards, this makes it so that is no longer an issue. Yes, we are aware the sort is currently oldest to newest. Not to worry though, that will be changed to newest to oldest. Report links/buttons Now, if any of you find something or someone you know to be a clear TOS violation, and wish to report it, it's a simple click. This will launch the user's email handler, and get the email report sent off to the correct address. New registering users This one will eventually affect all users in the archive. At this point in time, this new function ONLY affects new users, just now registering. Although that is a very long time away (several months at minimum), as this change for ALL user names will not go into effect until the new software is tested and ready for deployment. For registration, the user name must be 8 or more characters in length. The only special characters allowed for this will be underscore and hyphen. The pen name has to be a minimum of 4 characters in length. Special characters allowed for this are hyphen, underscore and space.
