    Classic Books?

They've been under the "Jane Austen" subcategory for a very long time. As far as I know, they've never had their own sub categories. Link to it
  2. What I'm thinking I could is this for now... Create a manga top level IN the anime subdomain, and then the content in that toplevel (provided there is enough content to support it) will eventually become its own subdomain. But at least this way, the stuff is already set up and a move would be relatively easy comparatively. When I do this, I'll set it up with the usual misc categories and what not, and when you and others you know need a category for a specific fandom, tell me what it is and I can that going as well. It'll be a bit weird as far as set up, because I only have 3 levels to work in, and only two are posting levels. However, I can uplevel everything once it goes to its own subdomain. So, what I'm looking at then for structure is the following, initially... Manga-top General, Het, AU, etc-2nd level alphanumeric cats (i.e. a-f, g-l, and etc) 2nd level specific title cats - 3rd level
  3. What we've been doing is putting the categories for manga in with anime. Gonna have to ponder a change there though with the cleanup. Possibly a new subdomain? After all, we have one for comics and one for cartoons, so it would make sense. We do a new one of those though, it'll be later, I'm sure. So, to clarify, what you're asking for is a Manga top level?
  4. Well, as we all know, not only do we not allow users here that are under the age of 18, we also don't allow users to post for someone who is under 18. This person was posting for a minor, was deleted three times for posting for the same minor, and is back yet again. To prevent this person from doing it YET AGAIN, they are being Hall of Shamed.
  5. in original Make Out With a Madman Belongs in Moves>Batman(ALL) in anime Koumajutsu Belongs in InuYasha>Crossovers in buffy Wee Little Puppet Man Belongs in AtS/BtVS Crossovers>Het>Buffy/Spike(William)
  6. First question is where do you want to add to? In the user panel, there is a drop down menu, which gives a listing of all 21 sub domains to where you can add stories. The default is anime. So, if one would like to add a story to the books subdomain, for example, you would have to select books from that drop down, click go, and THEN add your story.
  7. Thanks for letting me know...getting caught up on bunches of stuff....
  8. Those two categories will NOT be added until you can show me ten stories per pair.
  9. for pair specific subcategories, we're requiring that there be ten already pre existing. You would post this to the topic in the archive suggestions forum (it's pinned) for category requests. We're also asking that users who are requesting a specific pair for a sub sub category provide the links to the ten required pre existing stories.

  11. In anime- When a man loves a woman belongs in InuYasha>Het>Sesshomaru/Kagome ^--the bulk of the above user's stories are misplaced Breathe on Me Belongs in celebs, not QUITE sure where...
  12. Here's how you do it. Select edit story. Select the story. Select edit details. Edit the summary field. THAT is where your tags go.
  13. Tos violation Now, we are an "anything goes" community and fiction archive, within reason. However, due to the nature of the multitude of stories (hate crimes, anti-semitism, and racism), the numerous complaints far above and beyond what we've ever received in reference to any given story or user, I have opted to initiate a site wide ban, and delete all but the profile from the archive, as the profile links to the Hall of Shame once a Hall of Shame entry is done. This user has been banned previously from fanfiction.net and some other fiction sites as well for this very thing.

  15. actually did it both before and after. both times Vista was a miserable failure
  16. You can actually do that yourself. Anyone can, as long as it's in the right subdomain. You edit your story, go the category selector, change it to anything other than the one it's in for the primary. Then reselect the correct top level. From there, the sub level menu will appear, and you then select the subcategory WITH sub sub that you want them to go in to.
  17. How'd I manage it? Simple. I opened up my programs I work in regularly and did stuff in 'em. I had several of my graphics apps open, a db server, a db application, web design software, word processing and a text editor, as well as a spreadsheet. I had several projects open, would go between programs to work in them, set up a macro in the spreadsheet to do a looping calculation, and set up an inventory type db and ran some utilities on it. As well as having video playing, and had a couple youtube pages open as well (turned off the speakers). Was working on a stylesheet and a few webpages as well. The one which took the longest to crash was XP Pro SP2. It took me 7 hours. Was never able to crash SP3. As I said, I DID set out to crash it, and see exactly how long it would take.

  20. Yeah, definitely got lucky with Vista there. We have a little thing we do with any new OS at home. My hubby unleashes ME on it. heh heh. What I do, is as much as I normally would in normal working, and then push it. See how long it takes to crash the thing. Other than NT2000, I've never been able to crash anything quite as fast as I did Vista. 2 minutes. That's all it took. I got NT2000 to crash in 2 1/2 minutes.

  24. If you could, put the links to stories to be moved in the misplaced stories forum.
  25. If they're anonymous, there's not much I can do this end to trace, unless they leave actual contact info or their signed in user name.
