I've recieved a few emails this morning, saying how some pages are doing the "wall'o'text" thing where they weren't before.
This is actually related to the older reports of the same issue, when the rich text editor was first added.
At that time, it did this with many old stories. However, the data in the tables still shows the line breaks and what not. However, as these were straight text edits, instead of a coded line break or paragraph, there was a different kind of marker for making those breaks. At the same time, the word exported html inserts ended up with double/triple/quadruple spacing after paragraphs.
While fixing something for the new code which did this same thing, we applied that fix in to the old code as well to fix the word html issues. What happened next is that any chapters which had partial html, but no containers; ended up wall'o'text as well. This does not affect all stories.
The other thing with this, is this would've been implemented with the rest of the software later in the year as it is.
Yes, I'm fixing as fast as I can, but this is done direct in the db, and there are many, many records I have to go through. It's a manual fix only, so this will not be fixed in a matter of days.
