That explains why I opened the forums and saw half of it before I had to enter login info.. Well it's pretty spiffy, just enough to entice passersby to sign up and see what else is hiding behind the register button.

Well if it doesn't make sense to have it here, then don't knock yourselves out doing it. You folks do enough as it is; A spot on the author profile page to list it would be extravagant enough in my opinion.. Making/securing a personal blog should be a non-issue for the users of the site.

I wasn't aware a blog was such a bandwith whore. Nevermind the author profile thingy, maybe someday when AFF has a gazillion GB/mo. to use. ^^ A forum based one might be nice, seems like that would also entice people to come to the forums and stick around to see what's going down here. But if that were to happen it would probably be like number 149 on the to-do list
