Which I get and that’s sorta what I’ve been doing. But I think about it in terms of readers who like a couple of characters. Some of which is in the story. I’m also thinking about stories that are MF versus stories that are FF in terms of what’s happening. I’ve got stories that are both. The first one might be MF and the second one might be FF. People might prefer the FF to the MF and wouldn’t check it out if they see the first one as being MF.

Just wondering if I should break up my one shot compilation stories into individual stories rather than grouping them all together. Especially the ones in group situations. I don’t know if I’m shooting myself in the foot in terms of potential reviews by putting them together. Although I worry that posting them one at a time would flood the site with mine and take attention away from other stories on the site. Thoughts?

Definitely some good options for sure. I mean, I wasn’t necessarily focused on the tops but that’s where my head was at. The characters have jackets which I plan on having them keep on. So I was thinking of something that theoretically could be removed without taking off a jacket. Overall, the female character is a biker girl, so I figured that it makes sense for them to be wearing jean shorts or something. However I’m open to other options.

I’m working on another story and I am trying to figure out something for a female character to wear that I haven’t already used. Currently, I’ve used for instance a crop top, a dress with a deep V neck in the chest area, one character wears a very short jacket with nothing underneath. I’ve also had a character in a fishnet top and a bra underneath and another who is actually just wearing a bra as a shirt. So I’m not entirely sure what else to have characters wear. There are characters who have worn t-shirts and other regular shirts. But I wouldn’t mind some suggestions.

Do people use a lot of bolded text in AFF stories? I usually only do it at the beginning and end. Often for either an “author’s note” or for “the end”.

Yeah, I tend to make sure I’m writing well. The only place where I need help is the Tags which I like to be accurate between WIP and Complete.

I don’t think that there’s a problem with caps words on the site that I’m aware of.

Maybe we should conduce some kind of exorcism?

Should we be worried that the Gremlins might get into the wires and eats the connections?

There definitely should be some kind of magic spell for this. Maybe because it seems to mostly be happening to me, it’s a personal gremlin?

I’m noticing a problem with the Buffy summaries. It looks like words like “Buffy’s” as well as “it’s” now comes out as “Buffy39s” as well as “it39s”. Seems like in the Television category I have at least one that has an apostrophe in the summary and it looks normal. But I have also noticed that several are missing a sentence ending period. Did something happen or can I somehow edit it?

Magic does have consequences I suppose.

Did someone invoke gremlins? Did someone feed them after midnight? Or get them wet?

Don’t we have a whole bunch of writers who are obsessed with gremlins and other magical creatures that cause chaos? Maybe they have some kind of magic spell?

I’m glad that it isn’t just me as well. Although obviously it isn’t a super important thing.

That’s certainly a possibility, although I don’t think my story is going to be funny enough to go there.

Actually, your “upstairs/downstairs bookstore” option is a pretty good example. Basically, the family friendly to Hooters style restaurant is above ground and it has a more adult oriented space underground from a bygone era. They’re treated as separate businesses, but part of the story is that they are brought under a single owner.

Well I hadn’t necessarily considered it from that perspective, like having kids involved. I was thinking more in the sense of imagine if the owner of a more adult oriented bar acquired a family friendly restaurant and decided to turn it more into a Hooters. Not to mention have the employees of one working at the other. Keeping up the appearance of the family oriented place but not really catering to the family vibe. It’s not that the fandom itself is family friendly, but it’s just where the story is going in my head. Both locations are canon. Yes, technically you can bring your family to a Hooters, but that’s not why most people go to the place. Especially given the scenario I’m setting up. So my initial story revolved around the adult oriented bar. But there is fun to be had in the idea of the Hooters style restaurant. Possibly with some crossover in terms of “things on the menu”.

It’s more from the perspective of the employees. The initial idea was about the “downstairs book store” concept from the perspective of the employees. The employees are the main characters of the fandom. But as I was working through the “downstairs” story, I thought it might be fun to show the “upstairs” story. Both businesses are going to be staffed by the same characters.
