Men of Faith Chapter 13 is up Summary: Frustrated with her patrol that night and looking forward to some time alone, Faith is interrupted by a vampire attack on a bus full of priests. She fights the vamps off but that doesn't help with her frustration. It has her looking for... other ways to be satisfied.

Okay, well, I suppose that’s good to know. For clarification, it’s actually a woman wanting to claim another woman as their own. In fact, it’s multiple women all getting the same tattoo. Or that’s the idea anyway. Given the nature of the relationships, it made sense to have them do this and a tramp stamp seemed to work. But if it’s in one location, that can still work.
-
Okay, because if wearing revealing clothing is part of it, technically wearing a sports bra would be revealing and anything under the shirt would be considered a “tramp stamp”. But if the lower back is the aspect, I suppose I can work with that. I guess I would just call a tattoo elsewhere, a tattoo? Unless there’s some other word for a tattoo meant to indicate a relationship. That’s sorta the point. To use an example from a fandom. There was a couple who got the other’s name tattooed on their body. When they put their arms next to each other, it formed a heart. That’s sorta the intent behind this but with much less of a cheesy idea behind it.
-
So the question sorta points out the whole thing. I’ve been thinking about the idea of a tramp stamp tattoo but I’m wondering where does it actually go? I don’t know that much about tattoos and don’t have anything myself. My understanding is that it usually goes on the lower back. But if it goes elsewhere on the body, is it not a tramp stamp? I have a character who is focused on certain parts of the body and I’m wondering if the tramp stamp is on a particular body part, is it still a tramp stamp?

Hopefully that is a potential fix.

Well it’s funny, for this site I use Yahoo mail but for another site I use a different one and I get emails from this forum but not the main archive. For other sites, I don’t get any emails at all. Although occasionally I can get them, but then it stops again.
-
Well that’s good. What’s weird is that I literally get no emails whatsoever from certain fanfic sites. Usually when it goes to spam, it shows up in spam. But these days it doesn’t even go there. It’s just a non-existent email that the site says they’re sending and it gets bounced back.
-
Yeah, makes you wonder exactly what the email providers are up to. Especially since it’s not just us.
-
Yes, I’m well aware. But as I mentioned, I love getting emails because I can check them when my internet sucks.
-
I think it’s not just this site that’s having the problem. The other site FF is constantly asking me to confirm that it’s okay to get emails from them because email providers are doing this too. Not sure how I can fix this on the provider side.
-
No worries, I only really like the fact of getting an email because my weekend access to internet isn’t great. Which means that I would love to know what to do on Monday.
-
Hey, so… I asked about this previously although I can’t seem to find the topic to reply to for some reason. I asked about getting an email when I receive new reviews on the archive for my stories. I was told to go to my profile, update my information to confirm emails, which I did. Since then, I got a new review and I did not receive an email. Just curious what’s that about. What I can do to potentially fix it, if anything.

Are there good and bad rules around responding to reviews?

Okay, cool. I guess I will do that then. -
Can an archive mod change the content tags to complete a story?

Thank you very much. Glad it wasn’t a big deal. -

Right, I think this is what I’ve done. Based on what you’re saying, this post is the one I should do replies under? -
Yeah, this is why I don’t post before I actually write it out or am very long way into it. I’m not yet writing it because I’m focused on other stories. This one I’m talking about may or may not end up on AFF. It could go either way. Basically, I’ve just written down a bunch of plot points. I think I’ve outlined the overall story. Now it’s about filling in the little details. But how the first chapter ends will affect how the characters will act and how the audience might view the characters.

Okay, I just want to make sure I don’t do anything I’m not supposed to. Do you use a specific part of the forum? I’ve seen a few people posting on here with the title “Review Replies” along with the title. But I think it’s supposed to go in a specific forum place. -
So, I’m still sorta figuring out things on the archive and the forum. My understanding is that review replies is a thing and I think that I created one for my stuff posted. But is there things I shouldn’t do? Should I take a screenshot and put it on the forum so people know who I’m responding to? Copy and paste the review? Mention the person or not? Like I said, still trying to figure things out but I had a few reviews that I thought about responding to but couldn’t figure out what the right way to do it is.
-
Yeah, I definitely think I have some aspects of that although I haven’t worked out all of them yet. Like I mentioned, it’s more like the main character is into a gaslighting scenario. The person she’s involved with keeps saying one thing in private and then doing things in public which makes things confusing. But the reason why is the mystery.
-
For sure, I do a lot of stuff. But for mysteries in particular, it’s a good idea to know what you’re doing before going into it. Because you have to think it through to make sure your audience wants to know what the ending is.

Getting Initiated Chapter 12 is up now featuring Buffy Summers Summary: Buffy really needs to find a way to get along with Riley's friends in the Initiative. She's willing to do pretty much anything for them to be more accepting of her. They have a few ideas and Buffy decides that it's worth it if the guys become less hostile to her... as long as Riley doesn't find out.
