Well it will probably be both in some cases. That would be fun as an idea, much smearing. Also, just curious how long does it take to fully use up a stick of lipstick? Such as how many applications to the lips (or other places) would it take? Does a stick last a week? A month? Assuming daily use or something.

So if someone draws with lipstick on someone else and then they get sweaty with each other, it’s probably going to get washed off? I assume potentially get on sheets and clothes and stuff?

And I assume that includes sweat? Or mainly moisture which is closer to the place lipstick is usually applied?

Okay, but do you know of any that last longer than 10 hours? I suppose it could work for the story but the longer the better. Basically, the reason I’m wondering is because I have a character using lipstick to draw/write on their lover’s body. So I’m trying to figure out how long in theory the lipstick will last.

I’ve been trying to look this up but get very vague answers. It’s part of a story I’ve been working on. More often than not, what I read is “several hours” or “last for hours”. The most I can find is 6 or 8 hours. But that’s usually from sales websites and things like that. Not clear if it’s actually real or not. Whether it can be longer or shorter.

No worries, not a super urgent matter because people can still read it in full. Just thinking about consistency for readers. Might seem weird to them. Also I was worried that I’d somehow missed something in terms of formatting. But again, not urgent.

Yeah, that’s what is weird. I used the same document editor for this type of thing. In fact, the final piece actually looks fine despite it being weirder format wise. For some weird reason, it seems to have happened when I copied and pasted it to the web.

Yeah, mine is that the character is watching the actor speak about their appearance in Playboy (which is a real thing that happened with the actor), and my fictional character suggests that they were hot and how they sorta looked like their fictional character.

I noticed something strange in the way my different chapters look. I’m attaching how it looks from my perspective in case it looks different from other people. How do I change this? I think that it might partly be due to the file. I think it used to be in an older format, but that shouldn’t affect how it looks when entering it into the text box of the site.

You’re right, never say never but I can’t imagine a scenario in which I would. The closest that I’ve come is mentioning real people in my fics. For instance, in one of my fics, I had a character watching TV and they were watching a celebrity interview with an actor who was actually an actor in the show. It’s more of a throw away line. I’ve also done things like named OC characters after the actors that I like, whether they’re part of the fandom I’m writing about.

Like it seems most people agree, I don’t go into the real person fic thing. I think I read a couple of them way back when I first started reading fic and it just wasn’t something I was into. I also generally don’t write or read fanfic based on animated characters. The closest I come to that is live action adaptations of comic book characters, like superheroes or Riverdale, things of that nature. Just not into the idea of animated characters having sex. It’s a line I personally draw.

Well I thought about the idea of being something of one being more aggressive than generally love making oriented. For examples of what the issues have been, they agreed not to tell anyone about their relationship, only for the main character to find that her love interest has told her boyfriend and broken up with him for the main character. They work through that and agree not to tell anyone else, only for the main character to find the love interest has told their mutual friends about them. It sorta goes along like this.
