  3. Chapter 26, “Birthday” is available. (As I realized I’m chapters ahead, decided to do a double header weekend.) Reviews, as always, are appreciated, and will typically be responded to on the review thread.

Normally I use random name generators, but this came to me after seeing just “Riggs”, and I like this way better!  :)

That’s the best way round. Mortis and Riggs just sounds austopsy turvy.

  12. A story pulled/deleted is a star in the sky going out, IMO. After a while, it gets pretty dark.
  13. Chapter 25 has been posted, enjoy!

  15. In writing the scene in question, it’s damn close, borderline, because evidence does get onto the body, but in the strictest sense, I don’t think the tag fits given the circumstances around it. When I get close to posting – CL, are you still reading my stories? I’ll need a second opinion.
  16. Thanks, because in this case, the couple do want a particular corpse to witness the act.
  17. With Halloween coming up, this becomes relevant. If two live and warm blooded humans had sex in the morgue, and bodies were nearby (but not acted upon), does the “nec” tag apply?
  18. It is fascinating, those who write directly into the little editor in the archives, rather than using another program and copy-n-paste it in. I use Libreoffice (it’s free), simply because I don’t write it in one sitting and it takes time to write, and I always like to have copies on my hard drive, including some intermediary drafts. AFF isn’t a backup service – though we’d all be thrilled if this happens to save your stories after a personal disaster (ie, fire, armageddon, angry ex).

  21. Authors can never be redeemed because they’re the master villains
  22. George, if you’re looking for a career change, she’d probably take the help
  23. You’re cruising….
  24. Of course, the most guilty party in all of this devastation is the author
  25. So, none of us here is redeemable?
