I posted a chapter, which means, I’ve met my NaNoWriMo goal, with a little extra, several hundred over 200k.
Next month….hmmm, I need a goal. 300k would be a bit much, but 250k seems too small, maybe 275k? Thinking about it.

After a short burst of writing, I’ve finished the chapter that’ll let me reach my nano goal. My story will make 200k words on Friday! (Still need to wait, proofread, so that’ll be Friday, the last day of the month. While this will be cutting it close, on time is on time.)

Only several K left to reach my nano goal for the month. Was a bit worried this chapter would come up short, but then I realized I had given the main character a burn ointment (for sunburn) that’s sold as an aphrodisiac in that it makes for super sensitive skin. Plenty of potential for several K of smut

I kept the name simple, “Kirkburton’s Sensitizing Ointment” with the directions of "Apply to desired areas, wait five minutes, rinse off, and enjoy twenty four hours of bliss. Warning, do not use if pregnant or allergic. May contain nuts."

btw, steer clear of the medical grade, stinging nettles have been added to discourage “casual use”… (and to protect the Healer’s supplies).

I did so recently with my Harry Potter fanfics, likely startled anybody on my author-alert list; a story I started fifteen years ago, last update had been six years. Given the time, and how much I had forgotten, I decided to rewrite it. Anyways, congrats on reviving a story..
