thanks BW, george and inbrightest day. sucky part of my moms stage 3 kidney disease is she found out on the hospital website that you use to see when your schedules are and test results. the doctor hasnt told her a damn thing about it! my uncle is still in Milwaukee hospital, probably going to be moved rehabilitation place. he cant talk at all! prayers are appreciated!

And it was a great and an incredible day, thank you.   I went out to see a castle, and then one of the oldest churches in England, managed to avoid the showers, and then out for an Italian for tea where they sang Happy Birthday to me, lol. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Btw, I am now going backwards, and I’ve decided to start at twenty-five, though when I get back to school age I expect to be wagging it again.

Those trades don’t require any more upper body strength than say Policing, or Military, which have females in their ranks. I find these “blue collar” trades are a bit of a boy’s club thing. I had a friend that was trying so damn hard to become a plumber but no one would take her on as an apprentice. 

There’s a domestic and industrial firm near me that advertises itself specifically as “female electrical contractors”. Definitely some out there! Our regular plumber’s a woman too.

I thought I saw one when my neighbour’s apartment had a blow out but it turned out to be a costumed stripper and they were having a frat party or something.  I am sure there is a very boring answer involving trends in education and gender disparity in the work force.  I imagined it would level out since things are getting so complicated even car mechanics are now basically electricians and need degrees to keep up with the space ships they’re rolling out nowadays.  I remember my mind being blown when I got a new car that only had 1 key and could open and start the car from my house.  I imagine electricians are also having to become highly educated.

Well, if you count bending pipes and pulling wire, there’s a good bit of upper body strength required for an electrician. However, my daft one (who retains his membership in good standing in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) has met female electricians.

Speaking as someone who has written incest, rape, bestiality, torture, gore, snuff, mpreg and, earning me forever a place in the lake of fire, furry anthro, I totally support this statement. I tend to go for the jokes when they pop up, but I am sorry if I grossed you out too much. Maybe the reason I’m convinced there’s no nasty people on the forum is that I am the nasty person.

Assuming you didn’t sign up with an email attached to any of your real world stuff it’s pretty unlikely they’d make a connection anyway. I only use Joandoe@gmail.com for fanfic related stuff so I figure the most they’d have for me from a fanfic site would be the site username, password (different to other sites!) email address and maybe a dynamic IP. So, meh.
There’s never really been any jerks on the forum. There was one dude who wanted to have hard-right flame wars on religion or guns or whatever a couple times but got kinda an apathetic response. I guess sometimes you get jerks in reviews, especially with the anonymity. I got the odd ‘die in a fire’ email over the years.

The thing is, people make a bigger issue out of a breach here at AFF than a breach at Equifax, which exposed highly detailed personal information and financial accounts to bad actors. They wouldn’t have given a free year of credit monitoring to anyone whose data was exposed otherwise—Equifax hates to give anything away. 
Here, you’re just going to be embarrassed when your friends and family find out you read dubious porn about mainly fictional characters.
(And frankly, if you’re that conflicted about your taste in reading materials, maybe you shouldn’t be reading things on AFF in the first place. Just sayin’… )

Those bad actors were no joke, either. Hugh Grant rang me up and mocked my credit score.

Actually I think you should worry less about lack of progress now and instead feel proud about the remarkable many good stories you have finished so far this year. You have delivered lots of quality stuff and it is given that you cannot keep that pace forever. Keep looking for inspiration and things will start to fit together again.

I would love chatting about story ideas if it helps your story muse going again, but it will probably need to be a bit later. Currently the family is packing for the two week trip and I will have limited internet and less private space than normal for a while.

Oh, man, that poor woman. She has all the horror of losing her baby and getting over that, and then they arrest her. Some real animals walking around calling themselves lawmakers out there.
I have the ideas, I know what I want to do, I just can’t seem to get it written down. But thanks, I guess I did do some good stuff this year, maybe it’s not so bad having another break!
