{This looks like it'll be fun...} Working Title: Dark Georgia Justice... or Dark Justice Georgia... I never figured it out... Fandom: DC, Justice League International Plot: A southern vampire (Georgia) is enlisted in the Justice League International group thanks to Batman. (Some of you who know me knows where this is going...) Fatal Flaws: I'm moving on to this because the plot itself is a fatal flaw. The only thing I knew for sure was that for some reason, Martian Manhunter would be the only one who knew that Georgia was a vampire until a certain event happened. The other members do question why she's only around at night but that group in the comics was only made for comic relief; their ignorance would be excused! The other thing that was definite was the romantic involvement between the two. Fatal flaw: no actual plot but not considered PWP either. Just some scenes of the Martian and the vampire bonding and then a big reveal of their feelings for one another... followed by, of course, hot Martian sex! I did want to play with the notion of Georgia being slowly cured of her vampirism due to feeding off of the Martian; no one knows what Martian blood can do, you know? The problem with that was whether Georgia would simply die on the spot after she's fully cured or as she starts to lose her vampirism, she gains Martian abilities (one scene that kept playing in my mind over and over was where she's feeding on him and her eyes flash red for a moment before turning back. But only the readers would get to see that...). Another problem, and this is just me in general, is that I had no idea what would happen after all of that. Okay, they become lovers and Georgia is either slowly turning back mortal or turning into a Martian hybrid. After that? Nothing. Would they get married? Would they have children? The story could become endless! And to note, the story wouldn't have any fight scenes in it. After writing two stories about superheroes, I learned the hard way that fighting is not in my repertoire (mind you, I have two more books to go so... *grabs wine bottles*). Therefore, this story was going to be void of it. Which was fine because in the comic series, they weren't all that serious; it was a bunch of stories about their silly antics and Martian Manhunter sighing a lot, wondering why was he made leader of such a goofball team! Keeping or Abandoning?: More than likely keeping it...

Both have spoiler events listed. Chapter four is an event that will happen and Chapter five just has two mentions of things to be!

The only time I ran across that problem was when I decided that last year's Camp NaNo project would be based on a comic book whose first issue came out that past June! I, of course, have always added in OCs so I guess you can say that I will always have a hint of AU going on, anyway! I realized that in order to not go too much into AU, I would have to wait until the newest issue is released, read it and go from there. Which... would actually force me to update at least once a month (a vast improvement compared to my current schedule...)! I know that writing about a comic book is different from writing about a TV show/series: where I only have to wait a month, you have to wait possibly several (and the gods forbid that the show gets cancelled! But, we're writers for a reason)! But, I will agree with Bronx and Jay: I don't think too many readers would mind so long as the canon characters are indeed canon.

Alrighty. I am totally caught up! I should be leaving you reviews in the actual story. But, I think you know that I'm more comfortable doing it this way, for some reason. I guess I should do it this way, seeing as though you have new readers! In short, I loved it! I honestly can't wait for book two!

Damnit... I forgot to put in a little face after that sentence; that wasn't meant to be taken seriously! My mouth did drop when I read what your husband said. Especially since there are quite a few of us who look forward to your stories and you're wanting to get quite a few published (I believe...?). It reminds me so much about my mom. She has a clue that I write, something that I've never hid from her. But when I had mentioned that I needed to work on one of my stories, her response is almost always "Wait, you write books?"

Oh! We're trading war stories! I don't believe I'm that bad off after reading those stories; I honestly think that I would be in jail for murder if it got that bad! But I do know a thing or two about not getting some free time to myself... After attempting to write it out, I honestly don't have it as bad as you guys. But my schedule and the people in it are demanding, to the point where I've seriously thought about just saying "fuck it" and go away for a week. What stops me is that there would be no one to take my step dad to work, no one to wash the tyrant's clothes and no one to take my mom to her doctor's appointments. Trust me: we left the tyrant alone for nine days. We came back to a tornado's aftermath... I can't leave him alone for more than a day after that... My problem is the timing is off when I get in the mood to write. It's like people get Spidey Senses when that happens: my phone rings off the hook, my mom is yelling for something, the tyrant is yelling for me to either listen to him talk about something I have zero interest in or come watch something or do something for him because the gods forbid he has to use his fingers to type or pick something up or the step dad needs to be picked up from work. Never fails... And like CL said: writing is my passion. Grant it, I don't get the reads like the rest of you guys but I take joy into doing something that I'm decent at. Is it that hard to get a bit of respect for doing it...?

Yeah, you're right. I'll just add on to this one. Besides, I have plans on more original stuff... just got to get a grumpy Martian off my back...

I have tried patiently waiting on your return to SB so that I could ask questions when I remembered that you had a thread! LOL! First: I am in love with all of the dragons so far even though I'm only on chapter 7 of Dragon King. My favorite is Marcus only because he's purple! But I am a bit questionable on his intentions as well as Luther's... My real question is about Lite and Shade. They are super adorable and I WANT THEM SO BAD!! I'm trying to imagine just how tiny they are, especially seeing that both can wrap around Jaime's neck. So, in dragon form, they are like babies but in human form, they're normal sized...?
