We’ll most likely increase her secondary anti-seizure medication. Her primary is phenobarbital and she is at the limit for that based on her liver enzyme tests. She takes levetiracetam (generic for Keppra) as her secondary, and she’s been on a low dose of that. We can double it safely, and that’s the plan going forward, once we get her seizures in hand again.

She’s still in hospital. We were set to bring her home, and deal with the focal seizures with oral meds, but her temperature went up, and that can lead to strokes while she’s seizing. So… more sedating meds IV, and hope the temp drops and stays down so I can try to get her later. Otherwise, it’s night 4 in hospital for her.
