As much as it pains me to ask this, if you’ve purchased books from Torquere Press, please don’t. They’ve stopped paying authors, editors, and cover artists. While we’re all trying to get our rights reverted back to us, our books are still listed for sale on Amazon, Torquere, Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, Google Play Books, and All Romance, to name a few. Check before you buy: if the publisher is Torquere, please don’t buy. We won’t get paid.

I’m one of the luckier ones. I’ll be all right,and I don’t depend on royalties. There are other authors who are owed a small fortune, and who may never see it. That’s just wrong on so many levels.

Man, that sucks. They’re probably comfortable continuing to scam people, knowing that no one can afford to sue them for the amounts they have lost.

If it’s become a scam, maybe there are state agencies that can help?
