Fyi... He LOVES messing with our heads. If you haven't read all of the chapters, he's got more twists and turns than a snake, and ironically, he twists them just as fast. Notice Max is bleeding Blue? that means one of his prosthetics got hit, not his main body. How will the majority survive? Only in the twisted mind of Magus are the answers, then again, Some of the ones rescued may not survive. Usually in a war, no matter how well planned and executed, there are casualties on both sides. Ultimate in revenge would be to let David and Cynthia torture Volstock like he has been to them, before letting his cancer finally just take over. Eventually, maybe Max will realize that there is no possible way to save everyone, but, will be content with saving who he can, and removing the head of the biggest snake, allerting some that are trust worthy and then being there to take in the ones someone else rescues. Maybe forming his own company that goes in and cleans places like that up and he and his family are the receivers for them, doing their best to rehabilitate the ones rescued and able to give them a much better life. I'm hoping there will be more than just one more book, you opened so many possibilities on storylines that you may have to enlist the girls to help you keep them straight... Loved the chapter, can't wait to see who gets what in the end of the battle.

Chapter 21 is up! So sorry this one took a while. Usual excuses: life, work, etc. But this chapter in particular...it struck me kinda close to the heart. Not just for story content but for what it made me remember. I'm going to continue to have this story reflect what's happened to me in my life, no matter what, but some things are more painful than others. Particularly here. I warned you that this wasn't exactly a happy chapter. Just to prepare you. In further news, I have switched shifts at work so my original 0800-1600 shift is now 2200-0600. That's right...overnight. Now, this actually may be a good thing because I'm finding myself with a bit more time during the day to write. Hopefully, this will mean chapters will come out quicker. Don't want to promise anything but the past couple of days I've been on this shift, I've had a bit more time on my hands. I would love to get the next Chapter out by Christmas but I will keep you updated with progress and whatnot. Hope you all enjoy! Hope it was worth the wait! And talk to you all again soon

Two cliffhangers in one chapter?!! Only Magus could pull that one off. Oh, the possibilities going forward although I have a feeling not everyone survives. Lots of angst and questions coming in future chapters. Can't wait to see what's next. Just please don't make this a midseason cliffhanger where we have to wait a month to find out what happens!

I really dont like the idea Joe. I just finished reading the new chapter,... i took as much time reading it as I could to stretch it out. I mean a lot of what people have already stated is true to me as well, that doing it would make Jack and Kayla's intamacy seem like its in danger. I don't think that anyone who is in a threesome at 16yrs old really loves anyone in the mix and thats why its cool to have threesomes in high school. I would just hate to see Jack do this, even if Kayla made it clear she is cool with it. It would break the trust in their relationship down the road. Right now they know that they have each other and Jack knows that "she is the one". So obviously if you have read my post, im saying dont do it Jack.
