GeorgeGlass Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 Once again, I come to this thread with hat in hand, looking for ideas for a title. The story is a The Ghost and Molly McGee fanfic in which two ghostly siblings convince Molly and Darryl to lend them their bodies for a few hours. This, of course, leads to the ghosts attempting to have sex in Molly and Darryl's bodies. Scratch prevents this by getting the ghosts to switch to two other bodies to do the deed. Nonetheless, the ghosts have awakened a kind of infectious lust in Molly, who proceeds to seduce various other characters in the succeeding chapters. Only gradually does Scratch realize what is going on, leading him to try and find a cure for Molly's contagious nymphomania. Full disclosure: This story was originally going to be a one-shot that was just about the sibling possession part and that I was going to call "Sibling Revelry." That will still work as the title of the first chapter, but not for the story as a whole. Any ideas? BronxWench 1 Quote

Perhaps Scratch Tries Stopping the Itch? Good luck. GeorgeGlass and BronxWench 1 1 Quote

Wilde_Guess Posted February 15, 2023 Report Posted February 15, 2023 No problem, George. When I haven’t been editing my own stuff today, I’ve been taking peeks at Depravity Falls; where “Pine” describes both the name and the shape of the family tree. 😄 Cheers! GeorgeGlass 1 Quote

FYI, I ultimately DID decide on “Itch Versus Scratch.” So thank you! Quote
GeorgeGlass Posted July 2, 2023 Report Posted July 2, 2023 So let me ask y’all this: If you saw a story titled “Captain’s Log” and knew nothing else about it, would you assume it was a Star Trek fanfic? Desiderius Price 1 Quote

Wilde_Guess Posted July 2, 2023 Report Posted July 2, 2023 Hi, GeorgeGlass. 3 hours ago, GeorgeGlass said: So let me ask y’all this: If you saw a story titled “Captain’s Log” and knew nothing else about it, would you assume it was a Star Trek fanfic? By itself, no. While the spaceships from the Star Trek universe keep Captain’s and Ship’s Logs, other ships of notable size also keep Ship’s Logs, and the ship’s Captain might also keep a “Captain’s Log” or journal/diary of personal observations he or she doesn’t wish to keep in the main ship’s log. Seeing the erotica/pornographic bent of this site, I would also assume that the “Captain” just might be well-endowed (or tragically not endowed,) and was (at least trying) to get “busy.” Cheers! Concur with @BronxWench Most definitely think of Star Trek. So, no @Wilde_Guess I don’t think it’s something that gets flushed down the Captain’s head. To be fair, Kirk did start the whole boldly going where no man has gone before thing and Spock is likely keeping the ship logs professional. Nevermind the enterprise would be hook up and fling central for everybody aboard the mini city flying through space. GeorgeGlass, BronxWench and Wilde_Guess 1 2 Quote

Damnit, Jim! I’m a Doctor, not a… Oh fuck, I am a doctor! Okay, whip it out, and let’s see what you’ve caught this week… Cheers! BronxWench and InvidiaRed 2 Quote
GeorgeGlass Posted July 3, 2023 Report Posted July 3, 2023 Thanks for the input, all! Looks like I need to come up with a different title for this story. It’s an original story about the captain of a freelance salvage vessel. She has a chip implanted in her head that enables her to, among other things, make log entries by thought alone. (This means that the story is told in the first person and largely in present tense, because the captain makes most of her log entries in real time rather than in retrospect.) While she and her all-female crew are on a planet searching for a crashed ship full of valuable cargo, she falls into a goo of slime that consumes her entire body except for her central nervous system and the chip. The goo then becomes her new body, and it comes with powerful and horrific new urges. Any thoughts? I have been struggling to come up with something adequate. Wilde_Guess 1 Quote
