BronxWench Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 I want to know why I get recaptchas in kanji... I mean, really... Quote
Shadowknight12 Posted July 9, 2011 Author Report Posted July 9, 2011 I want to know why I get recaptchas in kanji... I mean, really... I keep thinking that RECAPTCHA hates us all. Or loves us in that creepy stalker serial killer way. Quote
Danyealle Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 A musical note.. I have a keyboard, yes, but not THAT kind, dammit! Quote
KerantliDreamer Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 that and apparently andi ded according to that.. Quote
DemonGoddess Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 mirror recaptcha? When it does that, yes, you have to type it in from the beginning, even though it would be backwards. So the first part would be 48464 Quote
RogueMudblood Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 SK's post in SB made me remember I screened this earlier and forgot to post it. *doh!* Quote
Melrick Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 What in sweet christmas is that meant to be? Good luck in typing that one in correctly! Quote
Melrick Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 AH0(1 deventsu LOL Ah, but the first 'letter' isn't an A. lol Quote
BronxWench Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 Lambda, isn't it? (Which sets off whole new chains of flashbacks...) Quote
DemonGoddess Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 yes, but it accepts an 'a' for that Quote
DemonGoddess Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 I have NO clue how you'd put hebrew in where it'd accept it. JEEEEZ Quote
Melrick Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 What, doesn't everyone have a Hebrew keyboard? Quote
BronxWench Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 Now I feel much better about Recaptcha's frequent forays into kanji with me. Couldn't do espruar, could it? Quote
Danyealle Posted October 10, 2011 Report Posted October 10, 2011 I've had a couple of these! Apparently, it's some kind of funky-fied font (they appear to be using different fonts now to trick things) not real Hebrew. What has been working on my end is going with the letter it most resembles like the 'n' and such. It accepts that. Yeah, BW, I keep getting Kanji as well. No clue how I'm supposed to type that in. Same with the damned musical notes I get here and there. Quote
Raymy Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 OMG! I laughed so hard at some of these. I don't think recaptcha is being as evil anymore, since the posts here stopped Oct 2011. I just find some of the words spark my imagination as to what they might mean. Was hoping people had some interesting takes on them. Captcha nonsense word: ynalopi - exotic animal or medical procedure? Quote
Cuzosu Posted November 11, 2012 Report Posted November 11, 2012 Posting a review now, the CAPTCHA words are: akdater but ...what? It's like the CAPTCHA's saying, "Sorry, I'm taken. Look at this instead." And I hit refresh when it's something I don't understand or can't type, so at least some of them are making more sense. Had one once that said Lincoln something-or-other, but it was a while back and I don't remember the other half. I still don't know if it was talking about the president or the car. Quote
DemonGoddess Posted November 11, 2012 Report Posted November 11, 2012 I make liberal use of my refresh button, on any site. Quote
Cuzosu Posted November 11, 2012 Report Posted November 11, 2012 Probably for the best. And a wonderful comment. I'm rather fond of the refresh button as well. Especially for the CAPTCHA things. I had quetzacoatl once, only it had an 'n' on the end of it. Was very strange. Almost as odd as having "normal," and "squl"-something or other. Because really, what is a normal, squl-thingie? Raymy Posted November 11, 2012 Report Posted November 11, 2012 "esungnt rafh" Mmm. Usually there is one of the two words that is English! This one is hard. I know I spelled it right because it worked. So, I think "rafh" is a noun, and it sounds like wrath but is written like raft. Oh! I just thought of something. ReCaptcha just bit its tongue and is saying rash. "esungnt" must be ... um ... describing it, yeaahh. lol. Shit, I don't have any ideas. I admit it, I just wanted to post again. BronxWench 1 Quote
RogueMudblood Posted November 11, 2012 Report Posted November 11, 2012 Hm.... Recaptcha was trying to say "esurient" ...then finally had a reaction to all the story data that's on the site? BronxWench and Raymy 2 Quote
