I find it annoying that authors vote for their own work to tery and secure a five star rating on their fics. Do they have so little faith in their fans? well if they don't put in any effort and then insult the readers they can expect a low rating. why do they try and fool us into thinking something is better than it really is and then bitch when we complain? When i post a new fic i vote on it once and let the reades decide the rest. I give a three star rating putting it in the middle, leaving the votes of the readers to really decide which way it goes. if they don't put in the effort why do they expect the praise?

I have. Though usually it's a witty line or a cool action scene from a movie i like to copy for my fic. nothing major. I have never been sued. (for plagerizing or anything)

I don't think so. first of all this person will probably have to try and prove something that isn't true; you being underage. The moderators will look into it and see that from the level of maturity that you show both here and in your fics it's most like;y that you're not underage. Anyone can see this person is just trying to scare you. if they really thought you were underage they wouldn't been sat around sening threats, they would have done something about it and informed the moderators. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

My condolences. our prayers are with you. there really isn't anything else that can be said at a moment time like this.

Mostly i was horny. Plus i wanted to really see what the internet had to offer. I was sixteen when i first found AFF and became an avid reader. the fact it was forbidden, by parents and the site since i was under 18 made it all the more exciting. the whole rebelling thing. The first time i found AFF was when i was using a school computer. they had very strict security measures that prevented any porn sites being loaded up, so a little game for me was to see how i could get around all of this, what could i find that could get around their security system because they didn't think to proof agaisnt it? i did a google search on Adult Stories and eventually found my way here. i had never really known about fanfiction until that moment. by the time i got it into my head to actually write for AFF i was legal.

When we think someone is ripping off our work without permission then obviously the first insticnt is to get mad. What you have to keep in mind is that it was your work that inspired the person to write that fic and emulate you. First impressions are sometimes proven wrong and while you may have felt that you hated their fic becasue it was ripping off yours, you are allowed to change your mind if you think their work is good. if they are putting talent into what their writing and creating a good fic then it's fine to stop being angry at them. You said her story isn't like yours, and only te title is similar. so really all your fic may have done was inspire her to write her own real world fic. If you thought someone was ripping off your stuff then you have the right to be mad. But it's also fine if your not since her work isn't the same as yours.
