  1. Any about the individual would be in the celeb subdomain. As to searching, you MUST search for what you want in the subdomain where the stories would be. For example: Twilight stories would be searched for in books,
  2. In the meantime, you can update your bookmarks like so: change everything that says adultfanfiction.net to adult-fanfiction.org That will bypass the age verifier unless you've not set it yet.
  3. It's still there
  4. I'm not showing "poetryqueen" as a member
  5. Prompts nascent nuance nibble Rules Happy Writing! This topic will autolock at 11:59 pm EDT 9-28
  6. If you're using Internet Explorer, you're likely getting the no box text box that's supposed to be there. Are you using XP or 7 or 8? Are you logging in using the boxes in the upper right corner?
  7. Post the details of your issues here, please. I work on them individually, one at a time, and the technical support forum is the best place to get your support requests handled in forum.
  8. YYYY-MM-DD Using mine as the example: 1961-11-16 You MUST use the dashes
  9. What's really bad about all this, is when looking at Microsoft's help sites and communities, users are told to upgrade their OS so they can use a "modern browser". Mind you, all the OTHER "modern browsers" work just FINE on XP. Developers, on the other hand, are told to pretty much break their sites for all the other browsers, so it's compatible to IE. Not happening.....
  10. Unfortunately, the problem is for versions older than IE 9. IE 9 uses hardware acceleration features which are NOT supported by XP at all. I'm going to dig a bit more, and see if I can't find a way to overcome this incompatibility issue with the browser and the rte. So far, I've not been successful. Mind you, I don't encounter these issues with ANY other browser. Only IE.
  11. First of all, FAQ requests are not tech support. I've moved the topic to the correct forum. Please be mindful of the titles of where you're posting, before you do. Secondly, if you're not seeing any form of menu, you need to logout, then BACK in, using the boxes located at the upper right corner of the browser window. There is a bug with the center boxes, to where you can only use them for registration and activation.
  12. just pointing out to you all, that canon is the spelling you need. CANNON is a weapon.
  13. Nope, the age verifier is set so that it won't be bypassed.
  14. Okay, what I did (to make it easier) is merged the old account to the new. All your old data is now linked to the new profile you created. Make sure you login with the new email, not the old, and in to the new account (MamaBear)
  15. sure thing. did that, and removed your email from the post. You're registered in the archive with your gmail account, by the way.
  16. That's okay. I'd prefer people didn't use the file upload, as they forget to format with the html tags needed, ending up with wallotext.
  17. The change of address was submitted via Webmaster Tools 8-30. I have to renew it every 180 days. It can take the index up to six weeks to renew itself. Bing and Yahoo, however are already pointing to the new domain with the old links.
  18. As I explained before, the blue page is directly tied in to the add chapter function. It's function is that of a cookie setter. Whether you dislike it or not at this point in time is irrelevant. It stays, until the coder replaces it with something else, as she's planning on doing when rewriting the storyboarding part of the archive.
  19. The only other thing I can think of, is to possibly use Alt+5 when you open the edit window. If that doesn't work, I am stumped.
  20. There were a series of server side includes that needed to be added back in. You should be able to add your chapter now.
  21. I don't know that I'll be able to go backwards compatible to IE 8 or not. Theoretically, with the settings I have for loading the editor, you SHOULD be able to. However, testing in different modes for myself, it only looks to be working correctly in IE 9 or higher, standard docs mode. As I'm running Win 7, the OS itself won't actually let me install a lesser version of the browser so I can test further. Your best bet at this point is to use any other browser than Internet Explorer. The editor works in all the rest without any problems.
  22. Okay, starting at the beginning, because as you're running windows, what version are you running? Vista or greater, you winupdate will have updated IE to 10 or later. If so, then you change it to IE 9 Standards, and IE 9 Document mode.
  23. Okay, you still need to enable java, and set the browser to KEEP the cookies upon exit.
  24. You still need to change the mode in your browser. F12 should still access developer tools, and then change it from whatever it's showing to "standard"
