  1. Click adds will be there in the final. The important thing is that it WORKS right now. Fine tuning is always done last ya know.
  2. Here it is, it's in "S through Z"
  3. she changed her pen name. Here is here profile
  4. Well then, I guess I have some more stories to move, huh?
  5. If there is no category, look in the misc categories. That's where stories go if I've not yet created a category.
  6. How we add the categories, is that the author(s) who write it either post to the misc categories and I add it later when I go through the archive, or they request it when they have something to post or a WIP. Without either of those criteria being met, the category won't be added at this time.
  7. There's actually an example of the generic nonfiction disclaimer posted here
  8. I remember seeing those in my dad's Popular Electronics.
  9. there are still all my old Kenwood components in my mom's basement. My bro is using the Bose speakers. Still going strong, those things, 30 years later. I'll have to check, but I think he actually set it up so he can play the LPs that I left there as well. Tuner, equalizer, turntable and subwoofer.
  10. The kits were Magnavox and Zenith at the time, if I remember correctly.
  11. He was a tv repairman in the 50s. Yes, he was able to repair the old cabinet stereos with tubes as well.
  12. Perhaps you can learn how to spell before you post...
  13. My mom still has my dad's tube tester in the basement.
  14. hahahaha, hubby still has punch cards from when he was a kid. His dad was IT supervisor (before they called it IT, that is)
  15. It was also the norm for there to be ONE phone, not cordless.
  16. If you want to post your requests/challenges in one topic, that's fine. If you find to make individual topics, that's okay too.
  17. Letoria, what a tough, tough job you have. Having just lost two this year to cancer, I know that you who work in this field have a difficult job to do when it comes to dealing with the patients and the families. I know we all certainly appreciated our hospice contacts, as they all did their very best to make the transition a little easier on all concerned.
  18. @snowleopard - email forums@adult-fanfiction.org for further instructions, and then yes, you'll be able to.
  19. you have the option of adding your pen name/user name after the default of *guest. If she didn't do that, the posts would appear to be posted by "guest_guest"
  20. added
  21. Well, if you're referring to where you'll see name calling and other such things in a forum setting, we don't allow that, as it's flaming. Very simple, that.
  22. Hey Lisa, in the forum, if a user is posting as a guest, you can't PM them, as there is no profile to send a PM to.
  23. What you're referring to is searching within categories in a subdomain. HP is its own subdomain, books is a subdomain, buffy is a subdomain, and so on. Due to the size of the database itself, as well as the current search engine limitations, you CANNOT search for terms of less than 4 characters. Not only that, the current search engine limits results to no more than 200 per search. As to what you're specifically looking FOR, if data is not entered to enable your search term, in the summary, you won't get a result anyway, no matter if you're using the current engine, or when we finally get the new one integrated in. It would be helpful if I knew precisely what you're wanting to find, because then I can likely help you structure your search terms to work more effectively. On the other hand, there are instructions at the search page, to do exactly that. The DOMAIN is adult-fanfiction.org. The SUBDOMAIN is hp.adult-fanfiction.org. Searches are done within a subdomain for the specifics. For example, if you were to search for hp related stuff in books, xmen, or any other subdomain but hp, you would find nothing at all.
