A novel I'd written and posted here is being published. I just finished the long revision process, and I'm going back for cleanup now on sites I'd posted it on, that being here and Tumblr. My contract states I can leave the first 3 chapters, or 10% of the text, whichever is smaller, up on sites as a preview, and I would like to do that here. I just plan to delete chapters 4-31 off of it and leave the first three chapters up. However, I'm pretty sure advertising is against the rules here, and I'd like to know what the kosher way of saying "it got published, so you have to buy it to read the rest" is. Basically, I'm not wanting to break any rules, but I also want to prevent "Where did the rest of it go?" and "When is this being updated?" when it's complete. Thanks so much in advance.

Hi. I have a tag suggestion; I'd like one added for "teratophilia", IE, monster\grotesque fetishism. Currently I've been using 'xeno' but it's not really accurate. Teratophilia, xeno, and anthro are all different subjects. I can link to several teratophilia I've written and I've seen others around as well.

Alright, gotcha. But is there anything I can do for removing the ones that aren't going to apply after all or am I just boned there? Is it acceptable if on the first chapter I author's note "This novel as a whole will contain (applicable tags)"? Thanks so much, you've been super helpful!

So on my novel-in-progress, which has about twenty thousand tags, I was going to change some of the tags as I'm going to be introducing some content there's a tag for but I wasn't originally planning on having in it when I started writing it, so I didn't tag it as such. However, the tags are officially in the story description. When I try to add more, I just get an error that my description is too many characters long... you know, because of the boatload of tags, and likewise I wanted to remove a few that aren't going to apply after all, and can't. Sooo, what can be done about it? What should I do in regards to tagging as such if there's no way for me to actually edit them?
