For rigorous exercise and weight loss, try moving. All that packing, shuffling things around, really gives you a work out… (sigh… this stage nearly over...not quite, almost)
-
That’s the truth. Moving is also a good way to earn yourself a heart attack, a stroke, couples’ therapy, and a whole year of sitting curled up in a ball wiggling your finger like a wigged-out philosopher, too, but who’s counting? Good luck with it. 🍀
-
Down about twenty pounds since I started… definitely counting those
Though the back’s not going to be happy with this either.
-
-
After yesterday, now technically unemployed, that’ll definitely affect my writing time.
-
Yikes to being technically unemployed?
-
Well, my way of soft pedaling it. A change from above took out the last justification I had to keep working there despite a growing sense of burnout. What started as a job hunt quickly became an analysis of how long I could last w/o one, and that answer meant I could take… a rather extended sabbatical. Though also moving to be closer to family.

Resisting the urge to reply to those age verification help pleas that… the age verification is actually an IQ test in disguise.

So, on this wonderful April the 1st, are we going to be leveraging AI to auto-finish all those WIPs lingering in the archive?
-
What fresh hell is this? (with thanks to the marvelously acerbic Dorothy Parker, whose wit will never be matched by AI...)
-
Figured it’d be a great feature for April first. After you’ve finished the first two chapters of a story, hit the “auto-complete” along with X number of chapters, and have AI do the rest! I mean, with as GREAT of a product as AI is marketed to be, should let you clear those projects off your to-do list FAST. (FYI, all sarcasm/parody here, enjoy a laugh or two.)

Pro tip: When it comes to burying bodies, remember to call 811 before you dig!
-
I had to google this reference as we don’t have the number here [they got a website with maps instead!]. Funny once I understood
I was thinking it was maybe a convenience store where they worked shorter hours than 7-11, and you were advising folks to grab a water and stay refreshed.
-
That’s also good advice, don’t wanna have search and rescue called out on you either!

For those that celebrate it today, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
p.s. Also, remember to set your bathroom scales back 10 to 20 pounds.

Ah, but I usually wind up changing those batteries! We have the weirdest division of labor around here…
-
A tad more evil would be to toss said beeping smoke detector into the attic (or similarly inaccessible space). Alas, you’d have to put up with it too, so maybe not the wisest idea around.

Beware the Ides of March! 🗡️

Love this… (from a FB post I saw).
QuoteGandalf returns and his clothes, which were once gray, are now white. This is significant, because dry cleaning’s probably very expensive in Middle Earth.

Happy FOURTH of July for those that celebrate it! 🎆 🎇 🧨

Fireworks are completely legal where I live... Things are gonna get loud…
Happy 4th everyone. 😅
-
I didn’t check if I had any… if I did, I was thinking about starting them at a perfectly reasonable hour, like 4AM.

Wow… so this post should bump my “rank.” Lets see if that unlocks anything special.

There are those moments that make me wonder… Why is google maps putting the dining symbol on a pet shop? Go for the amazing sensation of goldfish squirming on the way down?

At least for the forensic pathologist, the patients aren’t going anywhere, they’re dying to see you

My potter fanfic has now crossed the 2Mword mark (on the hard drive, it’ll take more for the online total to cross it too).
