I think this is the third time I'm doing this. (Nice sig btw Adara) 1960 is the year I was born. Inspite of the fact that I was a rat, I'm actually a boar, since the Chinese new year is the 1st full moon after the winter soltace. I was born in jan, which makes me Capricorn. I wrote a fanfic for Zelda Ocarina of Time, then found my work started to veer into the "bedroom zone" (as usual), and found this site to post it on. The result was Navi which I consider the best of my fanfiction. It's my ONLY fanfiction. The rest are here StoryJunkie I promise, they won't waste your time. (Too much) I am very happy to be amoung writers. I feel like a pig in mud, or perhaps a virgin in a meadow, or maybe a junkie who just got a hit. Pick your metaphor. I love it. And I'm grateful for the chance to hob-knob with other writers and actually have someone read my attempts at fiction.

I am looking speculatively at Poly's avatar and sig, and thinking, hm, how long does it take a hound to track a scent? (As fast as a google of "Hans Gruber" is what!) I am laughing maniacally.

I think I must have, but I got up to get food at one point. And go to the bathroom as well, come to think of it. (I did the same for the book when it came out. Did not put it down for one moment, except for the above reasons) I never used to read the newspaper except for the comic section....

Well, Agaib is a softiest softy too, and even I cannot help but feel sorry for a little bit. After all, that was me a few decades ago. Just let life stomp on her a little while, but not too hard. Let's hope she wasn't an emo or anything like that. The way that one girl swore, I think my off-spring might be cursed for several generations, just because I laid my eyes on it for a while. Amazing how CAPS can convey such vitriol so succinctly.

Don't worry. I think we scared the bad girls away before they got here. And if they read this thread, then beware. The only way they can get past us is if they grow up, and learn a shit load of life, because that's the only way to tell a good story. "Come back when life has stomped on you several times and you have drunk the cup of bitterness" Yeah, a motto like that. Something to burn in their minds....although, I guess there are some kids out there that have gotten stomped on before their time, poor little buggers...

actually, that was a pretty good ploy. You ought to re-post it every so often, like flies to a fly-strip, they will respond. If they don't read that rant too deeply, (like to the third paragraph or so), they will start responding as these fools did. I mean, even when I started to read it, I was like, wtf, Pixagi? But then, of course, I persevered and a lightbulb went on over my head and I actually had to laugh at 1/2 the reviewers who obviously didn't have the patience to get to the end.... Although, I don't think you meant it as a ploy. Kind of surprising, eh? Of course, you realize, this is giving me evil ideas. (You'd think these people would check out the forum once in a while.)

I sense that I've only read two since coming here. Tell me if I'm wrong. In both of them, the women were almost larger than life. Meaning unbelievably confident, fantastic figures, and had guys fighting over them all the time. Inspite of that, the women seemed kind of superficial, almost as if they were cardboard cutout characters. If you dug too deeply, there was nothing there but impulses, and their preoccupations were only about what they were wearing or how they looked affected others.
