Nah, what an idiot. He consumed the entire package in a day, as usual. He's trying to wean himself off smoking by smoking cigars ( )

You know, I've given this a little more thought, and I remember just being really really bored. I was tired of TV. I was tired of housework. I was tired of sewing. I was tired of the dull world I lived in. So I decided to work on a story, which, actually, was a work of science fiction. Isaac Asimov ticked me off, you know, with that story about the mule, so I just wanted to make up a thing where, what would happen if...there were no more humans? And I went on from there, and bit by bit, discovering humans in pockets of the galaxy. This went on for years. Then I would forget about it, then I'd go back to it and find a new spin on it. I don't think I was mature enough to write a really good story, although I knew a lot of science. Now its the opposite. Can't think of a scientific theory that hasn't been solved by Captain Picard, so...yeah. But I'm better at writing. (Or so my reviewers tell me) (They better not be lying!) That story ended up in the bin. But I sure had fun doing it. It was (and is) better than TV or reading a book or talking to people. (I didn't say that)

First, pertrify, then throw with all your might. It will chip, I assure you. Are we there yet? -

I know how you feel, since I saw this guy on FP posting and endorsing the "Child Rights Group" It was absolutely sickening and made me cold all over. A child does not think in the same way an adult does. I had him deleted. I wish I could say in actuality, but it was only in virtuality. I apologize from the bottom of my heart for the assault on your sensibilities. Crimes of this nature should not be considered, nor acted upon. A child should NOT be interfered with in any way. I am glad that you shared your feelings here. Not all stories here are about child abuse Not all child abuse stories are about it being a good thing. Some people have suffered these abuses and find a way of getting them down and out is by writing them out and letting people know what's out there. Kind of like hungering for justice. The world can be an ugly and dangerous place. As everyone else has already mentioned the warnings that ARE REQUIRED before an author publishes, I will only say that many of the people here are sensible intelligent people, and would probably react the same way as you if anything like that really happened.

er, Soulsearcher, that wouldn't have happend to be barbramarie, would it? I read those, and I thought that woman could write a soap opera! She brought me to tears and the sex scenes melted me! I can't believe she's too busy to write these days, what a waste of talent. And I think Sess' character is too cold and calculating to ever go for Kagome or anyone else for that matter. He's just a walking orgasm, tho'. I read the beginnings of a Sess/Naruto xover, that was absolutely hilarious. (from the pov of sess' stalker) Sess is to be looked at, not touched.

the internet is fascinating and addicting. If you have addictive penchants, it's probably not a good idea to be going on the internet at work, even at noon or on breaks. Just make it a rule. God, its awful, I know. do you know how hard it is for me to NOT play minesweeper and freecell? It's all I can think about when I'm idle. So I go sweep the floor or bug the dispatcher. I go for a cup of coffee, or help with the phones. If its a slow day, I bitch about the customers or some crazy news item.

ah, the wonders of oxygen! That's an addiction for you. He probably wasn't even thinking. My husband just quit smoking, 5 days after he quit, he bought a pack of smokes, and didn't remember that he had quit until he had unwrapped the package, pulled out a cigarette and lit it.

Gee thanks, Dudettes! When I got stuck on one fic I read it to my daughter, who saw something there that I did not, and when I thought about it, it made so much sense. I then wrote an 18 chapter pre-quel. I think we get too close to our work sometimes....that's probably why reviews and getting them are so important for inspiration.

So we could get used to the subject being infront of the object, rather than the otherway around, which is how everyone else talks. (Yes, talk they do like Yoda) Aren't you glad there are SOME redeeming elements to some movies? -
