Taking baby steps: wrote one page, now fighting my inner demons NOT to tear it up and burn it.  I’ve got to get back in the writing habit, even if it is AWFUL.

I'm officially 24 now

I will be very happy when July 31st gets here.  That’s when the extra $600 a week for unemployment finally expires.   That may sound horrible, but I’m on the opposite end of that.  I have worked through this entire thing, and the only applicants I’ve gotten for my critically short staffed store, have been applying for the unemployment requirement that they do so.  Have only had one day off since November 14th.  ONE.  Plus, I’m already on schedule for a minimum of 80 hours a week, and if anyone calls off, I get to cover it.  Because I don’t have enough staff.  So my average work week is more like 90 hours or better.  Awful damn tired of people working the system.

Lately, Chrome has been randomly assigning the icons for my frequently visited sites. Right now, AFF has the IMDB icon. 
There’s a joke in there somewhere, but I can’t seem to pry it out.

It’s been a long while since I’ve had a haircut. I’m starting to look like Doc Brown from Back to the Future. Maybe that’s why I’m thinking four-dimensionally.

forgot to post this but on may 21st at 5:05am, my sister had her baby! 3lbs 5oz 13 inches! Adeline Bernice Rose! PROUD AUNTIE! they are keeping Addy at the hospital til she reaches 7 pounds! 

Next chapter of A New Lease on Life – “61: Forgiveness Goes Both Ways” – is complete, sent out for beta-reading, and with a little luck, should go live on ALL SITES (except Tumblr because Tumblr is run by censor-happy dickbags) by the end of the month! 
And just think: it only took almost a YEAR to get that chapter completed.  Kimber Bryant is, again, a very large part of the delay. She’s so hard to write, I swear, sometimes I want to just give in and kill her off AGAIN. Forget second chances in other worlds, it’s too hard to get in her headspace to deal with writing her often. At least we only have two more Kimber-centric chapters before we can get back to our regular programming.
...why did I commit myself to her arc? I must be a masochist or something.

I’m back-ish? So much turmoil has happened in the past four months of my life and I think writing somewhat helps me. Well, it hinders more because I let events affect my writing. 
Anyway. I’ve decided to post the latest story I’d been working on. Started the story back in October and still working on it. 13 chapters already so I’ll post a chapter everyday.  

Final grade for the fan fiction terminology final assignment is in, and the assignment earned me an 8,5 (out of 10), which resulted in a final grade for the course, of 8. Not too shitty…

Having spent the past two weekends tackling ambitious to-do lists, I’m already planning to spend at least one day of the coming weekend doing virtually nothing but chilling on the sofa and watching TV. Good thing season 5 of She-Ra drops tomorrow. 

While browsing Paheal, I accidentally clicked on an ad link, and now ads for Eve's Toys are appearing in the middle of news articles when I read them on my phone. Time to clear my cache, methinks.

Alrighty then… Terminology final assignment done, created a terminology list for fan fiction… let’s see how that goes  

You guys ever find yourselves shipping a pairing you know you shouldn’t?  Like maybe the relationship isn’t exactly healthy, or one of the characters is a hero and the other is the villain, or something like that, but you still kind of like seeing them together?

I have progressed from starting stories and not finishing them to not starting stories. Well, ok, regressed then. Which is a shame as the next unfinished one would have been about a guy finding out his Mom had a twin after finally meeting the rest of the family (after his Mom’s falling out before he was born). It’d have been dead pervy as there’d be an attraction on both sides.
