How to find the Author ID and Story ID

Click "More Reply Options" then you'll be offered the option to "Attach Files" - click "Choose File" then once selected "OK" (or Open). Then "Attach This File" and it will be a downloadable link. Alternatively, if you have uploaded already to a server, click on the 11th button from the left (that looks like a picture) and it will ask you for the URL. Or, you can type [ img ] your_url_here [ / img ] (take out spaces, of course) Hope that helps Snark? Sarcasm? What are those? (points to the HoS) I've no idea what you mean....

What in the world would make you think that? The first poster in the thread is the author, they've not been banned or asked not to interact with readers. It's encouraged to respond to readers via the forum. I'm really confused where you got the impression that the author was asked to leave? Nowhere on either archive or forum profiles is that indicated at all. And please respect that we've asked not to use the forum to pass around story copies. We don't condone that.

As I said above, you're accessing via the old system. Probably, you're going into the archive and from the "Member Tools" drop down, you're clicking the "Author Panel" option. It still directs to the old panel.

If you click that tab, it opens another section - the 1 meant there was one person in that particular tab as opposed to accessing it from the top of the forum in whatever forum they were active in. When you clicked it, you became the second person in, so it shows '2'. Most users will just access from the top of the forum they're in, so it will just show blank, even though you can see a conversation ongoing. Hope that helps!
