Guest, who is too much of a wuzz to give us a name!
Don't you even dare to try and start yet another flame war concerning this author! JennMarie was underage when she posted to this site, and therefore she was deleted along with all of her stories. It is clearly stated all over the site that you MUST be 18 at the time of posting, because this site deals with adult material. And that rule applies to everyone! Even JennMarie.
So, sorry that the story is gone, but blame it on the author herself, since she was obviously unable to follow one simple rule, not our moderators and staff who work tirelessly, as volunteers, to keep this site up and running, and open for absolutely free.
    Monja.
I am sorry that I can't help with finding either story, and sadly if JennMarie wrote Butter, then it is gone from the site. But I do hope someone can help you finding the other story.

I think that if you want to do this, then it would be far easier for both you and the mods here if you created a round robin story. That way, each person can post their own chapter but no one can mess with the content already added before them.
I am pretty sure that this would resolve a lot of the issues that could arise if you proceed like you've suggested, because the mods here have a ZERO tolerance policy about plagiarism, if this story starts popping up in many different places it could be considered plagiarism.
So, please, for the sake of our moderators' sanity, consider putting this up as a round robin

JayDee, while sarcastic, is quite correct. Also, please note that she is one of the Authors on the site, a long standing member, not a admin or moderator. As a user, so long as she remains polite, she is welcome to voice whatever opinions she pleases same as you are.
Please understand that we've been dealing with the issue for many years and every time we've taken any sort of action she's posted something similar to what she currently has up on whatever site or social media she's work with at the time and we've said nothing in regards to whatever version she's taken to telling.
When the time came that we decided to remove her, I knew that we would most likely have some very upset readers as she has a large following and I also knew based on past behavior that she would likely blame the staff and degrade the site. As owner, I made the decision that any inquires into the status of her fiction would be answered with the above statement and only that statement prior to even removing the account. It is concise, truthful and in reality professional. I made the choice to include the exact dates and reasons to avoid a long drawn out thread of "I can't believe you deleted her - You guys are mean nasty horrible people for enforcing the Terms of Service a user agreed to!" We've had that before with other users and quite frankly, this was an easy way to cut it off at the pass. (Please note that it did work quite well for the better part of two months)
I did not at any point denigrate her or her writing and nothing was an attack, personal or otherwise. Believe me, if I truly felt it was necessary to stoop to the level she has on her various social media sites, I could. There is more to the story than what is posted above, but beyond a factual stating as to the history and why, that is not something users need to be concerned about.
It's quite frankly no more or no less than a reference I would give if I had a person call for a job reference or one for a lease: Just the facts Jack. I've held to a strict level of honesty and transparency with my members and will not deviate from that.
As this is obviously not going to resolve anything or change your mind, I locked the thread. I respectfully ask that as I have responded to this and there is really nothing new that could be said on either side that you not start this up anywhere else on the forum. Thank you.

Oh, you're adorable! Starting a post like that with the line:
Too funny. You Sir and/or Madam have made my day. The whole post is so expertly crafted. I especially like the bit where you give an opinion that folks on discussion forums should only give opinions if asked for opinions... when not asked! But it's pretty much all high class 'net flamewar bait (heck, vintage - I recall variations of "I'm not sure you have the mental capacity to understand it" on usenet). I salute you! And you should totally write riddles. I'm gonna have to risk being interpreted as peevish again and echo that wishing well in the future to you. I know it's hard to tell on the internet but this is totally not sarcasm, or even snark. G'luck!

Yes, shame on the admin for that brief summary telling folks what happened. What they needed was something like a professional writer would put, like old dexy's statement as, uh, admin/host of her own site: "I knew how petty and evil-minded the admins over on AFF really are."
Wait, what? Surely not! Based on your statement about how admins should act on their sites I expected to see nothing more than "I am no longer with that site." Now, I know little of these things but from what you've told us that doesn't seem terribly professional does it? Almost, well... petty? Gosh! Petty! Yeah, we'll go with that. Maybe... and this is just speculation, you understand, maybe stating a user is removed for ToS violations, and listing the violations - much like we see in clubs and such - without adding personal ad hom attacks... maybe that is the professional way to do it?
    I'm just being snarky.

We were recently contacted by a well respected British publication about appearing in an article supporting Fan Fiction since we are one of the largest Fan Fiction communities out there. The following is his email to us:
I would love to have some of our more established, long term, articulate Fan Fiction Authors who are currently active (Perhaps even an Originals author as we don't JUST do fan fic) speak with him. If this is something you are interested in, please let me know via a forum PM. Alternatively, if you have not signed up for the forums, you can always send me an email at admin@adult-fanfiction.org with your pen name/link to your profile and contact information that you would like to be provided. I'd appreciate, but not require, a brief statement as to why you would like to represent the site.
I'm expecting a large response (I mean who doesn't want to be quoted in an article!) so please understand that so he is not overwhelmed, I'll be sorting through the responses and sending only a handful on to him. I will be looking for someone who, as I mentioned above, is currently active in the archive, well versed and well spoken and has been with the site for a decent amount of time.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm so excited for the recent popularity and acceptance of fan fiction! If you have a chance, make sure you check out PBS's Idea Channel episode on YouTube talking about it! They'd love for our users to sound off in the comments!

Edit: Okay! So, I've got the short list created ... of 18... I still gotta whittle down, but at least I'm getting somewhere! Please understand that due to the sheer volume of applications, it is just not a possibility for me to respond to each of you individually. It's been a pleasure getting to understand a bit of why you do what you do and I can't even begin to express how blessed I feel to have such a supportive group of people!

I will admit that both DG and myself are extremely blunt in handling things, though I tend to be the more temperate of personalities. I do remember the interaction as well as your response to it. Was it blunt? Yes. It was, and she did also mention that she read it first thing and was trying not respond with at the same level the complaint was sent in. Not saying it is an excuse, but Rogue did copy and paste pretty much what you had sent, though the one we received was much harsher in tone. Could she have waited to send a response until she'd taken more than a moment to calm down from the tone of the 'request'? Of course but hindsight is always 20/20.
We are constantly having to defend ourselves against unfounded accusations of bias, removal, etc. We have multiple layers of staff to ensure that our policies are enforced fairly. I do random spot checks, as does DG to ensure that it is unbiased. Everything is documented in a secure portion of our forum, including screenshots as well as in a secure database on our server. Any actions we take can be backed up. However, because we administrate the site, we are constantly questioned and berated. Now, I'm not saying that we are always 100% right, but when we are wrong we don't have an issue admitting it. It has happened.
I'll give you an example: A long time author of the site was fairly friendly with the staff my former head admin Jaxxy had in place and made a decent connection with DG as well. The previous staff didn't moderate well, there were documented incidents of favoritism. I hate to admit that it happened in my absence, but it did, I can't change that. Due to a combination of the lack of proper moderation and favoritism, my staff has had the unfortunate burden of correcting those issues. This author felt that due to her seniority on the site and her online friendship with DG that she should continue to receive a free pass when she messed up. We had to issue numerous warnings through out the tenure of the new staff and her responses became more vitriolic to the point that if there was an issue with the story they wouldn't even handle it.
When we instituted our RTE for uploading stories, she threw a hissy fit. Now, did this cause issues with some old uploads? Yes, we knew that and we were working hard on a fix, but we had a choice - Improve our posting abilities and work to fix the glitches it caused or stay in the stone age. We decided the best way to go was to move forward and work to fix the old stories. Authors had a choice to correct it on their own or wait for us to manually resolve the issue. Unfortunately, as this author was not the most tech savvy, instead of asking for assistance, she would continuously bash us for the same ease of posting system that you enjoy, both in her stories, on her personal site as well as in our Shoutbox.
Time progressed as it does and after one too many warnings, I made a decision after consulting with DG that we would institute a 2 week ban. We do not have a hard and fast rule for removing anything other than stolen stories, minors or ToS violations not corrected in a 5 week time period and this was our first incident of having to take action against someone who was an adult and even old enough to be my mother. We reviewed the history, we reviewed the conversations, and after a lengthy deliberation we decided that since our normal process had not affected a change in behavior, we would put in the temporary ban. A polite email was drafted, explaining why and detailing the infractions that lead to this point, however we were then bashed across her page and encouraged her fans to come after us.
The ban was lifted at the end of the period and she was allowed to continue posting with the understanding that the next infraction would be her last. She managed to follow the rules for almost a year before she decided that she was leaving and decided that it no longer mattered if she broke the rules. The funny thing was, we weren't even the ones to catch her - one of our users did and reported it to us before we had found it in our sweeps. As she had already been warned about the consequences, we confirmed the issue and removed her immediately. This brought down more lies, more vitriol with out even a way to defend ourselves. Her readers berated us, harassed us, etc.
While this is certainly the extreme of what we deal with, it's also an excellent example. A large majority of our users do follow the rules, for which we are immensely thankful, but there are always that entitled few that cause issues. Thankfully, it's lessened, though we deal with in in waves.
You had the misfortune, for which I do apologize, of coming in at a time period where my staff was extremely overloaded with the incoming authors from FF.Net. We were all over worked, and DG the most as she is the main source of technical support for the site. When approached in the manner in which we were, it is very easy to take it personal and point out what she did.
I've said it many a time, and I'm sure many have heard it from various influences, you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. A simple, "I thought I had corrected my disclaimer after the warning, but I awoke to find the story hidden today. Is there something I still need to correct?" would have garnered a completely different response. The other side of things as well is that in a text based environment, things can easily be taken out of context as you do not have facial expressions or tone to help convey the meaning behind them. You may not have meant to come across as you did initially, she may not have meant to come across that way, etc etc. We tend to overlay our current emotion to text and make assumptions that with body language and inflection we may not normally make.
We truly are friendly people, always willing to help, but we also appreciate it when we are treated with basic human courtesy and people are willing to help themselves with the numerous self help tools we have provided. When reading staff interaction with other users, please make sure you are looking at it from both sides. It's always easy to side with the person not in authority because you can share a camaraderie of little people standing up for themselves, but not as easy to take a step back and view it from the opposite side. We aren't trained/paid customer service reps (well, I am in real life, but that is beside the point) - We are living, breathing, emotional people too that do this for free out of the passion we feel for the site.
And yes, this is extremely rambling, but hopefully it conveys what I mean it to convey. Welcome to the site!

Guest... Although I highly doubt you'll read this, but I do hope that you will.
I've stayed out of this discussion, because I don't know anything about JennMarie, and I am not a staff member, so I have nothing to do with the deletion or removal of authors and their content. But your unbelievably childish post is just too much to ignore.
First of all, 99% of the people on this site are writers, so they understand very well about writing and losing stories. And yes, by the people here, I do mean the staff members, and the bosses that are responsible for the site.
As for JennMarie being Loyal and Liking this site... Please! Don't make me laugh. If she'd had an ounce of any kind of loyalty, she would have fucking sat on her little hands and waited until she was 18 before posting her stories.
But she didn't. She thought she was special and would therefore get away with posting her stories before her 18th birthday. And she did not do this once, or twice... she did it six fucking times!
It is a legal matter if a minor is on this site, and therefore the staff members are legally obliged to delete them. It is done not only to protect the site, but also the living, breathing people who own and run this site, free of charge, and with volunteer work!
Read that again! They run this site, free of charge for members and maintain it with volunteer work. And because of kids, who can't follow the rules, they are put at risk. And that tells me that those kids are not Loyal or Like this site a whole lot. Nor do you for that matter.
Get off your high horse and read the rules, and then reconsider your words.
If JennMarie's computer crashed, then she either should have had the forethought to keep a copy of her stories on an external drive, or gotten herself one, and copy/pasted her stories onto one, from a computer that wasn't hers. I mean, she must have friends, or have access to public computers at a library or school.
Blaming AFF for the loss of her stories is childish and petty.
As for the staff being rude and abrasive, well, they don't exactly get treated with a great deal of respect much of the time. Just read your post again, Guest. Was that very polite. Were most of the posts before yours very polite? Honestly, the staff got a barrage of abuse from a bunch of kids that just did not want to understand that this was a serious breach of ToS, and then as good as blamed AFF for JennMarie losing all her stories. The staff were bending over backwards to provide people with contact information for JennMarie, so her fans could get in touch with her, and ask for her stories back and tell her she was welcome back if she wanted to, since she had turned 18.
And let me tell you something. The staff gets an extraordinary amount of shit from people who can't follow the ToS, and the staff has to politely ask them to conform to the rules. This can be as simple as correcting a disclaimer, and yet they get yelled and screamed at by little shitheads who think the rules don't apply to them.
Thankfully almost all of the writers follow the rules, and are very patient and polite when needing guidance to fix their disclaimers and other minor ToS violations. But there are always those rotten apples, you know.
As for the Hall of Shame, that is supposed to serve as a warning, as well as a deterrent for Plagiarists! There are very few members of Hall of Shame that have not been caught plagiarizing others. AFF has a very strict policy against plagiarism, and they do actively monitor such behavior. Maybe you should read Hall of Shame before you jump to conclusions. It is a very imaginative and funny way to warn people not to try that on this site.
And finally, what you said about driving "good" authors away from this site... Seriously?
The staff has been doing a bang up job this whole year, just like they did last year, and the year before that, and every years since they took over from the substitute staff that were (not) running this site for a few years before.
And they have not been petty and abrasive or derogatory or childish at all... yeah, sure, they've had their cranky moments, but wouldn't you too, after having shit thrown at you for weeks because someone got deleted for NOT Following The Rules!!
And they have refused to stoop down to this level, in many many cases, and that's why I decided to do it. Someone needs to stand up for them.
And I don't care if I'll get spanked for it. It's worth it.
I really, really want to point fingers, but I won't, but I can say that I know of at least one author who showed far more derogatory and childish behavior than anyone on AFF, after she was banned.
Also, just the fact that you have specifically mention that you are not JennMarie or any other author who's been banned, makes it so much more likely that you are. Not to mention that if you've been lurking on this site since 2002, then you either started lurking way before you were old enough, or you're being seriously childish for your age.

Actually - I'm not. It's foolish to think that someone who owns and operates the 2nd largest fan fiction website on the internet would be ignorant of copyright laws. Not only have I had discussions with various legal sources, I did my own research prior to consulting with them. Your arguments hold no water.
Please also note, that as you are intent on infringing on EL James' copyright, your information including IP address data has been sent to both her and her editor along with copies of what was posted to this site and our removal of it.
I wish you luck with your faulty arguments if and when they decide to send you a C&D letter
I'd say happy writing, but it is apparent that you much prefer taking someone elses work in it's entirety as opposed to creating something of your own.

As stated many, many times before JennMarie was deleted for being underage at time of sign up. Not once, but multiple times. She was well aware of the requirement for being 18 or older to join and use the archive. This is NOT a new policy, the age requirement. It's been in place since the site started in 2002. That she consistently flouted that rule is, quite frankly, her issue. That I deleted her content and profile is not an issue, but simply something that HAS to be done with underage users as they're found. Perhaps you've not read the prior posts, but you know, these children who do this don't give a rat's ass about the consequences that their presence can have on the real people behind the site. Which is EXACTLY why we're so aggressive about finding and deleting them and their content. To PROTECT the real people behind the site.
As to dextrousleftie, read this topic. As Apollo pointed out in her answer, there was a valid reason behind the deletion.
We don't play favorites, as I'm sure you can see. There is a Terms of Service in place for a reason. Users who sign up agree to ABIDE by the ToS and Content Guidelines. If someone has continuing difficulties with following that, then yes, eventually they can and will be removed. It is patently unfair to the bulk of the users who do their damnedest to follow and do what they agreed to at sign up, for us to not deal with those who choose not to, repeatedly.

She may very well be in college, but she was underage when she joined. Her birthday is September of 1993. Which means she had no business at this site until then.
Her registrations were on these dates:
    5/17/2009 - 15 years old
    6/15/2009 - 15 years old
    6/30/2009 - 15 years old
    10/25/2009 - 16 years old
    12/11/2010 - 17 years old
    5/27/2011 - 17 years old
    7/16/2011 - 17 years old
There were NO registrations by this user when she was of age to do so. NONE.
It is plastered all over the damn site that you MUST be 18 or older to use it. It has been for years.
So, either the user willfully ignored this, or she can't read. As I expect this user can indeed read, you can see she willfully ignored this. This rule is not in place for shits and giggles. Nor is it in place for the mods to get their jollies off by deleting people. This rule is in place to protect the site and the people attached to it.
Once again, as she was underage when she registered, and underaged when she posted the bulk of her work, it's her OWN damn fault she got deleted. When rechecking by story ID out of 16 stories posted, only 3 were posted after she was 18. She KNEW better.

Actually, the email that we provided is valid as that is the email address from which we received her rather whiney email about being disciplined for violating our ToS, so if you aren't getting a response then she is probably off sulking. If you are getting a error, then she must have deleted it and we have no further contact information for her.
As the owner, I can emphatically state that while I understand that many users would like her to return, we will not be contacting her to ask, even on behalf of users, to return. She violated our ToS with complete disregard for the possible legal consequences I could face by being on the site underage - While it may seem prideful, I refuse to send that type of email to someone who apparently couldn't care less if I paid huge legal fees, ended up with a criminal record, or even in jail.

Sadly, Guest_Leah, we're pretty used to dealing with immature morons who threaten to hold their breath unless they get their own way. It's all about them and what they want, or didn't you know that? The world owes them a favour and it's our duty to trip over ourselves to accommodate them, even if that means us risking jail time. So in the future, when you come across one of these childish numb-nuts, you'll know to commence your deferential kowtowing immediately, since they deserve it you know!

Sorry, I can't help you with this. But, give it time. I've seen posts here answered weeks or months later. Just keep an eye on the forum, and maybe use the bump button every now and again. I'm sure someone will be able to help you out. It's also smart to keep an eye out for anyone else searching for the same story, or a similar one, because those might get answered, while people might miss your search.
Good luck and hope you find what you are looking for, and welcome to the forum.

Is checking in... room #2, does anyone remember where it is? Oh, well... we'll just wander around aimlessly, until we find it.
Nice to meet you, Pittwitch and Bronxwench. Oh, and there's six of us, in total, so you may expect quite the ruckus... sorry about that.

OOOhhh, very excited to see your kilt wearing elves... sounds very yummy. But the house is sounding a little empty at the moment... just me and my boys here, looks like.
And by the sounds of it, they're off somewhere playing hide and seek.... It's the naked kind of hide and seek.... I promise I'll wipe down all the buttprints...

Hanging out on the deck, Myron watches as the guests arrive, leaning onto the railing, an impish grin tugging at his pale pink lips. His raven black hair stands up in every direction, and the steel grey eyes study every detail of each guest. Swigging at the bottle of beer in his hand he wonders why all the other guys are getting kilts, and swears under his breath "there's no effing way Willy's going to get me to wear one". As an afterthought he wonders if bringing all OC's was really such a good idea.
I'm still dozing in bed (you know, since I finally got it all to myself).
Jude's gone out to take a look at the BBQ, and he said something about wanting to walk down to the ocean, if he can get Myron to go with him.
Yuji and Satoshi have taken over the billiard table, and Yuji keeps cracking dirty jokes at Satoshi, as they take turns beating each other at the game. They've already downed a couple of beers each and their e-cigarettes seem to be glued to their lips. (They made a big fuzz about not getting to smoke inside, but I told them it was the electronic ones or they wouldn't be coming. The e-cigarettes are odorless and harmless to others, so you won't even notice they're smoking.)
Kansas is wandering around the house, peeking into corners and closets and unlocked bedrooms, just to see who's here... hope he won't get into trouble. Be warned. He has the most disarming smile of them all... there's no escape once he pulls that out.
