"It Starts with the Eyes" was such a FANTASTIC story! Whatever happened to that? You could read "Close Protection" by Cordelia Kingsbridge. Definitely angst, drama, humor, adventure, etc. in that story! It's also a completed story.

The guy he meets runs a Guiding Eyes sort of place, and the amputee's therapist or best friend suggests he goes there as sort of therapy. Omg, yes! I'm really not into those other worldly creatures and such, but she had asked me to edit the very first Exit book (after the others were finished and posted),and I fell in love with him, as well as the other characters. She definitely is a great storyteller. I still have the last Exit book to finish! lol

Are you thinking of "Close Protection" by Cordelia Kingsbridge? The story was posted a few years ago though, not at the beginning of the 2000s. The story is about a rich kid in DC & his mom hires a bodyguard to follow him around everywhere. The kid's name is Luca & the bodyguard's name is Jake Ryder, but everyone calls him Ryder. The story should still be on here u less she got it published.

It's called Dandruff by Munez. Jacob is the boy's name and I think Hunter is the lawyer, and Felicity is his wife. Munez hasn't updated this story in years. It's too bad b/c it's a great story.

It's called "Art Criticism" by Blue_GhostGhost (not sure how she writes her name). I think James is the main character. It's a great story. She also has written a few shorts based on these two characters, James and Turkish.
