Maybe you know this already, but “Darla” has a sequel, “Darla’s Dad.” Also, another author, risa187, wrote a third story called "Darla’s New Beginning," in which Darla gets a happier ending than she does in “Darla’s Dad.” Coming up with premises for these stories is a big part of the fun.
