I actually moved his topic from the Writer's Corner to the appropriate discussion forum yesterday, so you can link to it.

Hi! I'm a moderator, not an administrator, but I can answer this question for you. We LOVE to have authors add links to the forum in their stories to the review or discussion threads for a story, and I'm equally happy to have you add that link to a review, so folks can know that they can come and chat with you and magusfang here. The Fan Fiction threads, where most of us post review reply threads, is open for anyone to read and reply without registration for the forums. It has to be a registered forum user who starts the topic, but magusfang is certainly registered. The Writers Corner threads are for forum members only, so those discussions would only be open to other forum members. And as an author, can I say thank you for being the kind of reader who wants to generate discussion and spark interest among other readers? That's the kind of thing we all love to have happen, so thank you!

Yeah temp ban until 11 July. Kinda messed up since I followed the rules, I also like how they pull your story and ban you all at once, no warning no chance to edit or defend yourself, all in the finest traditions of the KGB or the Stazi (notice how I didn't say Gestapo, that's right, I took the high road !)

Might have to pop over and see, not that it matters; I'm not posting there anymore, I followed the rules to the letter and still got nuked.

I was kinda going for that but worried that it sounded condesending instead of funny, but said the hell with it and used it.

God, I hope not! Pretty sure though, they usually don't pass up an opportunity to razz the hell out of me. No they're being pretty sympathetic, so as long as they don't read this post, I should be golden.

So finally got chapter three of Girls In The Grass out and I think it's a pretty nice twist, bet no one saw that coming; just wait till you see how I tie that wobbly little string back into the story!

And therein lies part of the problem as well. Even if an author never responds to me when I review, it's still something I feel I should do if I've read a story for enjoyment. I think authors deserve that, and if they respond to my review, that's just icing on my cupcake.
