      Oh, I’m drinking alright.  Believe it or not, most of the gifts are for the nieces & nephews.  I can’t wrap MarineBoy’s yet – his sister doesn’t know he’s coming home.  :)

    The staff here does not take kindly to members harassing each other. Report anything like that immediately to the TOS Team. Do not remove the reviews until a staff member can screen shot them. We do enforce our TOS. I solemnly swear.

      I just cannot believe, with everything the Rooney Family has invested in their football organization, that they sanctioned their team hiding in the locker room instead of standing on the field for the anthem.  Cowards.  I guess it is a silly thing to be upset over.  On the other hand, I'm ashamed and angry.  This is not representative of my Pittsburgh.  :(

      Ah, of course. I’ve been trying not to let myself get upset over all of this. Frankly, I think Trump has done more to dishonor the flag, the anthem and this country than any athlete expressing his opinion as is his right. But Trump TALKED during the moment of silence for 9-11. The people I knew who died that day deserve better.

      Agreed.  Those who fought for anyone’s right to disrespect the flag and anthem deserve the respect of having them stand up, in public, and do so.  My issue is more with the fact that they hid.  IN a tunnel.  If someone feels strongly enough that they have to take a knee, by all means do so.  But do it where the world can see.

    Staff does not have the ability to add/remove/hide single chapters. If you are typing directly into upload story page, I strongly suggest you make a copy before attempting to post so that you do have a back up. You can copy/paste to notepad just in case there’s a internet blip or some other weirdness that prevents your chapter from uploading.

    As a reader, I do see where some other readers would appreciate the option to download to read offline. However that does not take into consideration how much easier it is to steal from the writers. I’d point out that it is already all too easy to copy/paste someone else’s hard earned words. I am willing to sacrifice being able to read offline to afford some protection. As a staff member, we take a very dim view of thievery. I direct anyone wishing for proof to browse through the Hall of Shame. As a writer, I’m not against making stories accessible to readers, but I do want my work as protected as possible. Having had work stolen from me, I can vouch that it is an extraordinarily unpleasant violation of trust.
