Sitting at my desk last night and some movement on the floor to my right caught my attention.  It was a giant spider, lumbering across the floor.  It turned out to be an Australian tarantula, our biggest spider.  The other night it was a foot long lizard.  What the hell is it about my room?

I am so fucking tired of double shifts.  ugh

While it may seem quiet of the surface, it’s been quite busy behind the scenes for AFF.
We’ve been busy doing a security sweep of user accounts. Accounts with invalid or disposable e-mails have been purged.

Currently, we are merging the over 5 k users with duplicate (or more) accounts down to a single account per user.

Should we spook people by talking about Holiday stories?

My day job has been a gong show of late, troubleshooting AFF's woes has remained on my mind.
Hoping to start the first phase of unlocking the site this week.  So don't be surprised if you get an email asking to re-verify your email and to change your password.

So, like everyone else, I would really, really like to put this nasty hacking crap behind us.  Unfortunately, it does take time to find the likely culprits, whether individuals, or what they used.  I am making progress, but please understand I’m reading these things line by line by line

Worst horror story of the week: MONDAY!

Our cats have access to two cat beds, several chairs, a couch, a couple boxes, a footrest, a beanbag, countless pillows and blankets, a sunny windowsill with a blanket in it, our bed, and a cat tree. The cats are permitted to have a cuddle, nap, or lazy moment in all of these places. If we don’t catch them first, there’s even a couple baskets of clean laundry that might be comfy.
…and Woozle wants to sleep on top of a flat of toilet paper jammed into a storage shelf.

Cats, man. You just can’t make sense of them.

I swear this site is becoming my lucky charm. Been doing job apps out the arse with no response calls. Click on the site I finally get a call back and an hour later I got a date.
