I keep coming back to read this. It's short, sweet and so beautiful.

Thanks so much, Lady F. Maybe I should try writing another poem one of these days.

Damn these kids are evil

Yes. But kind of in the way Frankenstein’s monster was evil.

I’m not sure she’ll be happy ever again.

Outstanding story with just enough sex to make it hot.

Thanks! That’s pretty much what I was going for.

I especially liked the shared-cock magic.

The twin-sister idea started as a joke that Fairy Slayer made about Greta’s use of “elf magic” at the end of the first story, and I liked it so much that I made it canon in the second story.

I adore the pixie getting help! ❤️

Thanks! Addiction isn’t something I’ve dealt with much in stories, but for this, it seemed fitting.

How strange that helping others was a theme this year O:

Well, you know, the spirit of the holidays and all that. :)

A Fairy Merry Christmas

Quote

Ok, this was really funny.  I was legit chuckling several times while reading it.  The idea of what is for all intents and purposes a puberty fairy had never occurred to me, but if there's a fairy for transitioning from baby teeth to adult teeth, then puberty fairies make sense too.  I also loved the bar full of disgruntled fantasy creatures.

This idea actually came from an old Bill Cosby standup routine. He talked about a “breast fairy” that would come to a girl’s room at night with a magic bicycle pump. :)

Quote

Well, some of them are disgruntled.  The satyr's probably just there because that's how he rolls.

Yup.

Beagan's attitude towards children is great too.  She's correct, in that Dina is frustrated by the rate her body's maturing at, but I loved the inevitable exchange where Dina points out that Beagan is kind of forgetting that kids going through puberty are still kids, so she's not about to flash the other girls to prove her breasts aren't fake.

I never decided exactly how old Beagan is (twenty? a hundred and eighty-four?), but she’s old enough to have forgotten what being a kid was like.

Finally, Beagan's alcoholism could be played purely for laughs, and to be sure, there is something funny about an AA meeting involving fairies and elves, but on the other hand I like that there is a little arc for her here, catalyzed by seeing the consequences of her attempted shortcut.  At a guess, she's gotten used to ignoring disapproval from the other fairies and maybe disappointment from her mom, but it might get through when it comes from Dina.

I’ve recently developed a fondness for reverse bathos: playing something for laughs and then turning it serious at the end. And for this story, Beagan confronting her alcoholism felt like the closest thing to a real happy ending that it could have.

All in all, a pretty solid way to finish the year!

Thank you, and thanks so much for the review!
