Right. But it is the safest ____

I am exhausted. A nap is looking very promising right now. But will hold off on it till later. Beth

Please continue with the lists. The site backup that we are probably going to do deals solely with the Site FAQs page that content was deleted by them when they left the site. Beth
-
The four head mods are no longer a member of the site or the forums, so that will be hard to do. But Jaxxxy will probably let you know what's going on and that the site will be running smoothly from now on. Beth

Everything will be back to normal in a few hours to a couple of days. The Four head mods decided to get back at the site as they were leaving and out of spite, deleted the Site FAQs and undoing the changes that have been done. Now, isn't that nice of them to do? As soon as Jaxxxy gets a hold of tech support with Nexcess the backup copy will be in use to revert everything like it was before they did what they did. Have no fear. All will be taken care of. Beth, moderator of AFF

DA closed down all of the groups that she was a mod on as did Firuze and Paranoid. So Main was one of those that got deleted. We are not sure if there will be another group. But we will inform you when and if there is one. Beth

She and the other three head mods of the site hijacked adultfanfiction from the proper owner - Jaxxxy last month and it was only recently as in the past four hours returned to Jaxxxy and to get away from her placing blame on her - she and the other four head mods left the groups and the site. Beth, a mod of AFF.

Hello everyone! Glad to be back after a long, tedious, and unavoidable hiatus. I hope I find you as well as I am doing. No news is good news, but lo! here's some for you to read. I'm sure you will appreciate me being plain -- so here I go. As some of you may have noticed, four of our Chief Moderators have retired. I was erroneously believed to have stolen funds from AdultFanFiction.net, and this conclusion, in addition to my hiatus, displeased them greatly. I cannot blame them for their confusion, as several several wires were crossed -- but the fact that, as a reaction, this very site was illegally seized (the Nexcess account was hijacked, in fact), without discussion of the situation with even one of the other Moderators or Owner, is something I may have had to place blame for, had they chosen to stay. Mind you, I name no names as to whom in specific committed this crime. Nonetheless, there is no need to worry for the site's stability, as I have finally secured both our Nexcess account and the domain name (which there was also quite the race to acquire). You will be seeing some angry posts and claims from perhaps many people in the near future; I know this because a few have already been deleted from this very site (even the News Post area, here). Rest assured that I am going to do everything to ensure the site's health that I always have. Please, please do not let the hurt feelings and misunderstandings of others ruin your visit at AdultFanFiction.net, or fear for its future. After all, I've secured all this for the (presently) 64,528 Authors and Members of this site -- not myself -- and, as ugly as the job is, I would not let the softness of my heart subject AdultFanFiction.net's members to potentially illegal actions by its Staff. And so, I accept the resignation -- unhappily -- but know that it is right. Thanks for hearing me out! Now what you're really here for. Onward, to the fics! Jaxxy, Owner of AdultFanFiction.net

I have. I have never skinny dipped with others.

Mine is of a hand holding a pen in it. That's because for almost 20 years, I wrote fanfiction by hand before I even got a computer in 97. Beth

How about one that was started back in 1987 and was recently finished and all prepped for publishing in 2003? Beth
-
I voted for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Because Harry seemed to be the most happiest at the end of the book. Beth

Your story or are you still working on it? I have several stories that are in the works that have yet to be finished. I recently finished a story that I started in 2003 about four years ago. I knew I could finish it but I just couldn't get the words down but then the dam broke and I managed to finish the last two chapters in two nights and posted them on my webpage. It is Harry Potter and The Bungling Teacher. A Gilderoy Lockhart story. All PG13 stuff, no sex or anything beyond drugging Lockhart with chocolate made out of laxitives. Yeah, I made him have the runs to end all runs. But most of my other stories are about four to five years and still not finished, mainly because Writers' Block has hit those stories, even my current story When the full moon hits. So what is your longest story that you are still working on? Beth
-
I just happened to finish reading The Half Blood Prince and there is nothing that states that Draco is Snape's Godson, just his dad's oldest friend. So I would say it is fannon. Beth
-
I had writers' block on one story that I have tried to finish for over four years. And guess what? After four years of having a writers' block on that one story, the dam broke open and I was finally able to finish it. The name of the story: Harry Potter and The Bungling Teacher. And no, there was no sex scenes that was causing me problems. It was just the story itself. Now, there is another story, a Harry Potter story that the second chapter had to be taken down and revamped since 2003 and yes, this story has hit the writers' block soon after I took it down to revamp it back in 2003. I still need to finish that second chapter and post it. But what I end up doing to break the writers' block is to read other stories of mine and soon the juices are flowing for the other one and sometimes it doesn't happen, but I know one day it will break and I can finish the story. I would love for those people from the site come here and actually see that we do not want to stop and try to understand their words that they write and that all we want to do is help them write a story where we do not have to drag out our dictionary to figure out what word they are trying to write. I can understand with those who do not speak English as their first tongue, I know of several people who do not speak English fluently but they write it very well and they will accept the critics from others if they happen to misspell a word or two. But geez! the freakin' newcomers on the site are downright bad! There is one girl in the Bleach catagory who didn't even spell the words right and I think she's from America! What are they turning out in school these days - idiots who cannot spell for shit? But this one girl, refuses to join the Beta group and even after we asked her to go join, she said, if my memory serves me right here, I don't want to and she said something about not having an e-mail account(I didn't save the post that she said it in as she, then, deleted the story itself a day later. I would have informed my fellow moderators on our group about this girl not having a valid e-mail account. I may send her an official e-mail asking her if she would like some help with her story to make it better from one of the moderators on the site. I'll help the girl out but I don't see her really accepting my aid, since she rejected the offer to go to the Beta group.) So me and another person proceeded to review her story telling her all the words and sentence structure that was wrong. You would think that she would accept the critic from us and correct her story - right? Wrong! She deleted the story completely from the site and posted another story riddled with the same bloody ass mistakes. I refused to even review or look at her story knowing that she would either delete the story and post another one or leave the review up and do nothing in correcting her mistakes. I may review her story and leave her a huge ass corrected story in the review. She may take it the wrong way and claim that I am harrassing her or maybe she will see that I am only trying to help her. There are several good stories out there but when they are riddled with spelling, grammar and sentence structure mistakes, it makes reading the story so hard to do that most people will rate the story one star or not at all and sometimes leave a harsh review to the author of that story. I use my word processor to spell check most of my writings on a forum or e-mail. It's tough but at least my words are spelled correctly. Beth

Thanks guys, I will stick to what I know best and maybe add a few other terms in the story. After all it is Fateful Encounters on the site in the Harry Potter catagory that has the most words about the member. Beth -
Dear author of the roleplay or the story. How hard is it for you to grab a dictionary to check on how a word is spelled or what it means? Seriously, if you are fluent in English or even if it is your second tongue, you should at least do your best to spell each word out correctly. I hate seeing roleplays and some stories that you do filled with spelling errors. How hard is it to correct those errors? It doesn't take long, no more than five seconds after you find the word spelled correctly in your dictionary. And yes, you should have a dictionary by your computer desk to make sure if you do not know the correct spelling of a word and you know how it most likely is spelled, don't go about posting it unless you are very sure that the word sounds like how it is spelled. Almost every roleplay or story that I see coming from you, is riddled with spelling errors. I am so tempted to beta read those parts that you do, so you have at least a sense of what word, you have misspelled. I know the roleplays and some stories are not beta read but geez, a little consideration for your readers would be nice. Sometimes, I cannot even understand what the word you post even meant to be as the word is badly misspelled or done the wrong word itself! Please for the love of Fanfiction, please, please, go out and buy a dictionary and look up words you do not know the spelling of. Most of the time, you will find the words spelled correctly in them and you will learn how to spell them correctly. A dictionary is a fanfiction author's best tool beyond a beta reader. Find both a beta reader and a dictionary and use them both as you will not be disappointed. Beth PS: This letter is not directed to any of the authors on the forum but a general view of some authors who don't give a rat's ass about spelling properly in role plays or their own stories.

I have this story that I am working on. I had called the guy's member one too many times cocks or penis in this story and I was told to cut back on the calling it cock or penis. I thought it was fine with how many times I had stated the member. Now, I am not sure if I should add the various names of the member in the story or leave as is. But I am looking for names to call that member that could be from the silly to the outlandishly stupid as this story is a Harry Potter story. Thanks, Beth
