And I’m home. I had never realized before how essential I am, since it is apparently impossible for the household to function unless I am there to be the chauffeur, cook, laundry person, and all-around dogsbody. I’m going to fire my family, although the corgi can stay.

Woohoo.  Australia now holds the new world record for having gone the longest without a recession, which is 26 years, and still counting.

I’m supposed to leave for Boston tomorrow on business, so of course the corgi had a seizure, and my mother is having gastrointestinal issues and my son is celebrating his 19^th birthday with a flu. 

So, I’ve finally gotten a day off, after many 12 to 14 hour workdays, and guess what I did?  Mostly I SLEPT.  Slowly getting other stuff caught up here now.

So, Monday was 12 hours, Tuesday was 13 hours, Wednesday was 12 hours, yesterday was 9 ½, and today is 12 plus.  arrrrrrrrgggggggghhhh

We really need to get some people hired.  This is BEYOND ridiculous at work

23^rd of March is 5 years since my dad died.  Sometimes that seems like so long ago, other times it seems like only yesterday.  At least I now know you never truly get over the death of a parent, no matter how much time passes.

So I know I have been a ghost and there were updates to be done but…… Life has been a pain in the ass with my regular work place going out of business and the chaos going on because of it. Still very burnt out and only recently have I had enough function in my hands to type properly. I hope everyone can be a bit more patient and I will do my best to get the rest of the updates done as I get time when not a zombie in pain.

It’s official, our first over 70 degree day as it is currently 73 degrees out! There are buds on the trees and it’s time to break out the summer clothes! Woohoo! (Nah, I’m not excited or anything like that.  )

Ten to twenty inches of snow? Really? It’s a week until spring, for feck’s sake...

So, my boy goes back to the vet yet again for a glucose curve on Monday.  Hopefully, the dosage worked out on Friday is the one that’ll work.  It has certainly made a marked difference in his overall behavior!  He’s doing things he hasn’t felt like doing for the last month!

Computer my computer back today but after 3 days of solid testing, they weren’t able to replicate the problem.  The only variable was that they used their on monitor rather than mine of course.  But if there’s a problem of some kind with my monitor then they clearly wouldn’t have found it.  I have a feeling the problem hasn’t gone away so now it’s waiting time to see if and when it does it again.  If it does then I’ll take the computer and monitor up and they can check things that way.  Damn this is frustrating and stressful.

So, took my second oldest of the old men cats in for his glucose testing to determine his insulin dosage.  He started losing massive amounts of weight about 3 ½ weeks ago, so we took him in last week for an initial appointment, which is when we found out he was diabetic.  He went from 26 pounds to 10.  Since his appointment last week, he lost another half pound.  My boy can’t afford to lose any more weight :(.   I hope this works, because if I don’t see big improvement over the next couple months, I’m going to end up having him put down so he doesn’t suffer

My The Loud House fanfic “Whoops” surpassed 30,000 hits yesterday, which is more than double the number for any other fanfic I’ve ever written (and a lot of those have been posted for years). Not sure why this one is so popular, but I ain’t complainin’.
