So, for the rest of my mum's life, any time she gets sick - no matter how mild - I'm going to get horrendously stressed, yes? Yup, that's what I thought.

Mum's pace maker is in and she's now back home. Here's hoping she can now have some kind of quality of life again.

My days of being able to go on holiday are behind me now. I can't leave an elderly, increasingly fragile mum home alone anymore. She has to come first.

I've just been informed that I am not J K Rowling or George R R Martin. Whew, that really cleared things up for me. I was confused there for a moment.

Mom is home from the hospital, and on the mend. I am hugely relieved, and into the wine supplies.

Little J was taken off of oxygen Monday! She's 8 pounds 9 ounces O_O they believe she would have been 12 pounds at the LEAST had I carried her to full term. Holy cow.

Spent the night in the emergency department with my mom, who apparently has pneumonia.

Sigh after all that work I cannot post a damn thing!

Little J's 3 months today! And it's STILL not her due date!

Off to London overnight to catch a show and other stuff! *runs around doing hair and stuff* Supposed to be fun. *utters slightly terrified scream, waking neighbours* Back Sunday for archive.

Little J is now 7 pounds 1 ounce!

Went to the theatre yesterday to see Sarah Kane's "Blasted!" It's horrific, brutal and disturbing. If you ever get the chance, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Apparently, I have kidney stones. Nothing like a night in the Emergency Department to wind up a holiday.

Welp, this past week was very...different. I ended up going into premature labor with Little J and had her 9:15 PM November 25th at 26 weeks of pregnancy. Her placenta ruptured and it left the doctors no choice but to do an emergency C-section. Now 3 days later, both her and I are doing well! She's breathing with a CPAP, and all her blood cultures came back negative so she's no longer on antibiotics! I'm so grateful for my healthy little girl! But man am I sore...OUCH.
