We don't allow author note chapters, but what you CAN do is add a note to one of the chapters, and make sure it's no more than 600 words.

Did you login using the boxes at the upper right corner, or the center? If the center, logout, then BACK in, using the boxes at the upper right.

The story is transferred. The chapters will still show the original author, but with control of the story set to you, you have all add/edit abilities.

That's fine. The software rewrite is at a phase where I cannot add new categories. However, if you put the fandom name in brackets in your summary, I'll know to move it when I can make them again.

If you remember, there have been points where he's had to do things that she COULDN'T do, to protect his Slayer. Killing Ben comes to mind for this. Even though she'd defeated Ben/Glory, staying alive AS Ben, meant that Glory could again become a threat, so he had to die. Slayers don't kill humans.

If death were the guaranteed result for either, his choice would be his Slayer. She always comes first for him.

The story listing in your currently reading now updates with the last update day/time, so it makes it loads easier to see if anything changed.

I actually have most of the data for all of it. I have someone on clean up going through and providing me with a list of what I've got to look for and fix.

Okay, just tried on a Galaxy S6. What I saw, for example, with the archive dropdown, is that it opens up a menu on the left, and you select the archive from the left menu.

The field actually allows for more now, but is restricted by the old chapter add code, which ALSO limits the characters allowed.

You either have to not add the extra line in your word processor, as the rte reads that extra line as another paragraph, or you need to remove the extra paragraph after posting.

Hey BG! How goes it? Yep, my adding category days are on hiatus at the moment, because the coding is at a point where if I add 'em, I'll screw up the new stuff coming. So, just put the title in brackets as Bronxie said

IF you look above the category listings on the left, search is there. It's not hard to find.

That's the OLD profile, and is not editable. You have to edit your profile in the user panel, those options are above the story options. When you're done, I'll empty the old one.

and manta fixed it! Like I said, was a "print" command. But, I do not mess in the code unless she points me at something she wants me to do specifically

It's something in how the script itself is "printing" that data to your screens (and mine). I checked the db, and the trailing number is not in the field.

I'll ask manta what happened. I do know she put the NUMBERING back in as requested, and at a guess, somewhere in that function something else happened to cause the trailing one.

I don't like it either, but it does happen. Often an author will get stuck, or lose interest. We see that even more in fandom
