megadeth425 is a member here. We don't allow people to use the forum to pass around another's story, however. Your best bet is to contact him directly, and see if he plans on reposting it anywhere, or is willing to share it with you himself.

Not a problem. I can remove that one.

Archive profile ...and downed the work here once she figured she was caught. Doesn't mean we're still not going to do something though First - publication dates here (for all) Story 2

Archive Profile (click it, you know you wanna...) Not only was this reported by the original author of the one story, but by some of the readers as well. Then, when we started looking more, found out this person's OTHER story was also stolen. Sheesh. The first one, which was reported See the publication date on the first image? That was almost two years before it was posted here by someone not the author... And the second instance.. We do check on other stories aside from something reported and/or found by staff. It stands to reason if a person steals one story, they'll steal more. And this one is now banned as well....

So that other users with mobile devices who may experience similar issues know, would you post what you did? I don't have an iPad to be able to work out what needs to be done (or not) Thanks!
-
Okay, first of all, the archive is not optimized for use with mobile devices. Are you adding the html tags to the text area, which is actually the rich text editor? If so, that'll make for issues. If you're typing direct in to the text area, the rte is set to act like a word processor. The enter key (carriage return) is a paragraph and inserts a paragraph marker. Ctrl+Enter is a linebreak.

Archive Format Problems and Broken HTML
DemonGoddess replied to anonusr's topic in Archive Tech Support
I'm actually replacing \r\n with </br>, as that is what that represents in the tables. The coding is php5, mysqli; so I'm not sure if the python script will actually work for what we're doing. As I said though, I'll have her look and she'll tell me. The other thing is, python is not an installed module on our dedicated server. So, while I certainly appreciate the offer, it's not something we can use. -
I answered your email, please check your email and try logging in again

You're welcome! Thing to remember is that we do have a subdomain for manga, and one for anime. So, if your story actually follows MANGA arcs rather than anime, then that is where it should go.
-
When we get to originals for sort, post this sort of thing then, please, not now.
-
As your stories are based on the manga, I've created the category in the manga subdomain, here
-
The accounts are merged. As was indicated above, I'll need you to email with the address you want to activate with.
-
Actually, it's a CGI cartoon movie thingy, so here is where it is. Subcategory

I'm not finding anything to show it was an underage or other type of issue.

Actually, that was Danyealle's story. She removed the story for her own reasons.

Reporting a flamer or a troll or just a f'n nasty person
DemonGoddess replied to a topic in Trolls/Flamers/Spammers
I'm not sure why the author didn't report him. I've seen worse, unfortunately. Both in review boards and as stories. It's one of those things you do see from to time. -

As this person has no account, the best I was able to do was to delete the review (the only one, at that) and add the email to the ban tables. -
Archive Format Problems and Broken HTML
DemonGoddess replied to anonusr's topic in Archive Tech Support
I'd have the coder look it over, and she can tell me if we can use it. As the html is actually a direct db injection and not an actual page, it would be modifying records, not actual html pages. -
This is what comes up in search.

No, honestly it won't help. I'm going to step this out, exactly HOW you need to do this. Mind you, you must do this in the order I give it to you, or you will continue to have issues. 1. Clear your cache and cookies. I have a tutorial for several different browsers here. You MUST do this before doing any of the rest of the steps. 2. Reset your password. The password is only 5 characters long. It MUST be 8 or more characters to be valid. Reset it here. As this generates an email with a link you must click to initiate the password reset, you need to be sure to check your spam as well for it. 3. Activate your account Go to http://members.adult...n.net/login.php Using the CENTER login box, input your email address (that you registered with) and then your password. Please remember that passwords are CASE SENSITIVE. DO NOT hit the enter key. Click "login". This will take you to a new page. In that page, you must enter data for first and last name, birthday in this format: YYYY-MM-DD. It is critical that you follow the format exactly as given for the DOB. If you enter it in with anything other than dashes between year/month/day, this will not work. Pen names are no longer allowed to contain spaces, so replace any spaces with an underscore or dash, or simply delete them. CLICK update/edit. DO NOT hit the enter key. You will then be sent an email from anon@adultfan.nexcess.net. If you do not see the email generated in your inbox or spam folder, you need to allow mail from that sender. If you need the activation mail resent to you, go here: http://members.adult...t/rsa.php This will remail you with the activation link. After you've activated, you can login using the login box at the upper right corner. Do NOT use the center box for logging in after activation. There's a bug which makes it so that the center login only works for activation/registration. When you're logged in, you'll see displayed there "Welcome Back (Member Name).
