The script in the rich text editor uses current java. It sounds like something may have updated which is why your computer was restarting.

The only thing I saw in chapter 5 which may be the root of it, is the image linking throughout the chapter. I deleted all of that. Image linking is not supported for anything except the user's avatar. That, and the link directed to your local hard drive, so I expect what happened is that the script was looking for the image to link to and couldn't find it. Try it now.

Tools>Options>Content make sure java is checked click advanced (for java) make sure the 3 options showing are checked Once you do these things, you do need to close and restart your browser. With the changes they keep making to Firefox, you may even need to restart your machine.

Yes, to correct the blanked password, one would reset it again.

I'm not seeing anything in the chapter record itself that would interfere. The only thing I can think of is perhaps adjusting your 3rd party script allowances, and checking to make sure your java is up to date.

We would allow it where there were LIMITED excerpts properly cited. However, with what I've seen of these so far, many of them we wouldn't simply because they're predominantly the book itself and very little original writing. A sentence here and there with the character reading from the book, with the bulk of the story being the book "read from", is still a form of plagiarism.

The center login boxes HAVE to be used for activation and registration. For general use, you should logout then back in using the boxes located in the upper right corner. If this profile is yours, I already show you as updated. If you're trying to login with an email address other than the yahoo address you registered with, that would also give you the error of not being registered.

Linking in the Promote a Story forum is restricted to stories hosted by the site, yes. However, that doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't post your work elsewhere as well. Many people will post their stories at several sites. That's a preference, and certainly not against the rules.

Yes it is. Nexcess is great on that front. Plus, if weird things happen I can't fix, they help me with that too.

Send an email to technicalsupport@adult-fanfiction.org with the email address you're attempting to login with. That way, I can check to see what exactly the issue is. As to multiple accounts, that's a fairly common thing for users with accounts older than 5 or so years. No big deal though, if I find that, it's easy enough to merge them.

Okay, depending on which is the primary setting and whatnot, is where your story would go. We have a crossover section for Avatar here. Andromeda is here, and I've not yet created a crossover sub sub cat for it. Depending on what you tell me as to where the story will belong, is whether or not I'll be creating one later today.
