I have coverage via my husband’s job.I am hugely fortunate. However, while my kids have medical coverage, the dental stops at age 19. I *might* be able to wrangle it for longer for Michael, since he’s going to be under guardianship. But Maggie is screwed. It’s all out of pocket for her.

But, given where you live, and she being in college, she may just qualify for dental via Medicaid.

She’d have to go that route, if they’ll let her. She lives home, and if they consider our income, she won’t qualify. I keep telling her to get a part-time job, so she has actual income of her own to use in lieu of her dad’s numbers. But for now, we just cover it, as she needs it.
