Chapter 4 is up Water Sports

Recently i have read a lot of para-normal romance novel, Kerri Arthur and Carrie Vaughn and i have also found alot of original fiction that is very well written. I finally found the inspiration to write something i hope to have done completly right now though i'm finding it hard to piece together the plot bunnies i have for my story with the stuff that supposed to go in between and link them.

Comments like that makes you wonder about the intellgence of some people, theres this story that would be my favourite HP story its got 97 chapters probably only 2 or 3 more chapters until its completly finished but the author just completly vanished her email doesn't work and her LJ seems to be abandoned that is sort of when you'd really want it to be finished seeing as it was WIP for almost 2 years while she was writing it

Well most people ignore the religious nutjobs and fanatics, when a catholic school in my country try to ban Harry Potter the media got involved and the catholic school was forced to overturn the decision because the parents were what got the media involved in the first place. There was also the same sort of story out of the UK where the teachers were actually confiscating the books. The parents of the children actually had their kids transfered to another school, they got such hugely bad reviews over that incident and the principal lost his job over it Now i think there is some rather large room for the script-writers to mess things up badly but hopefully they only cut out the right parts of the book like the script-writers did for Lord of the Rings they did a really great job of trying to put in as much as possible. I think that any religious backlash won't have as much as what was portrayed in the Da Vinci Code which of course can be seen as clear as day an attack on the Catholic Church

Well two of my favourite stories are positivly gargantuan. One is 97 chapters split into to 2 48ish chapters. And another is well over 220 chapters and only has a second part because the first part exceeded the file limit for the archive. A real chapter for a novel like story should be around the size of this page as it is from this post, the current chapter i'm writing for my story is over 4,000 words now. You need to have a plan for the current chapter so you know what you want to put into that chapter once you have run out of details you wanted in that chapter end it. Chapters that have under 2000 words are pretty well on the short side and need to be 2000 - 4000 words if they are not in the one-shot format. Though if you are going to be publishing the whole story and not posting parts of it at a time like most people do. 1000+ words is a good size for chapters just as long as the chapter is long enough to fill the page. (Some novelists do have chapters that are only 3-4 pages long in that paperback size)
