I am totally for the Slytherin boys and men. 1 - Severus Snape - I know exactly what it's like to go through daily humiliation both at school and at home; I had prats like the Marauders (and I'm including Lupin in that; it angers me that he LET the other two do what they did and didn't speak against it even though he knew he should... so can't forgive Lupin for that EVER!) I feel sorry for Severus and I relate to him quite a bit... I understand the pain and suffering he must have gone through; I still can't think I'm beautiful or pretty because of bullying not just in school but out of school as well... bullying almost made me commit suicide once. There is also that air of redemption about him. Oh and Alan Rickman plays him. 2 - Lucius Malfoy - I love him because he is proud of what he is and he doesn't compromise and is prepared to die for his beliefs. I have beliefs that I'm prepared to die for and not compromise on so I can understand that. I also find him physically attractive even though I normally don't go for blond hair and blue eyes as a combination. I also like him because he has some of the best lines in the books and the fact that when he comes on the page I sit up and take notice; and did do before Jason Isaacs took the part. Also my Lucius/Hermione fics seems to get the better reviews... 3 - Draco Malfoy - I hated him in the books and you could say it was because I liked Tom Feltons performance but ever since HBP I have grown to like and respect Draco Malfoy as a character; when he kicked Harry... served Harry right, he shouldn't have been there in the first place. He was spending an entire year on a plan which had replaced Quidditch as the most important thing in life; Harry hadn't had a plan and still thinks Quidditch is the most important thing in life; and Draco loves his family and will do anything to protect them... same here! And I mean ANYTHING! 4 - Lord Voldemort/Tom Riddle - I personally love this villain. He can't love and I find that fascinating; as I believe even Lucius Malfoy does know that. I think that he's a wonderful character and I am rather jealous. I can't write characters like that I find it well nigh impossible. So my hat goes off to Jo who can. I also think that he could be quite seductive if he wanted to be; as there must be SOME reason why Bellatrix Lestrange and Narcissa Malfoy are on the Dark Lords side. I will think of more but those are my favourite characters.

Oh, I think that it should be someone like John Noble; I think that's his name. He played Denethor in Lord of the Rings; and you're right; Fenrir Greyback is Uber sexy.

I worked it out three years ago the Erised thing... but then I love word play and anagrams. I hope NEITHER Dumbledore NOR Sirius come back... I hated Sirius and just found that he was cluttering up the plot with nothing useful to do; so, that's why he was killed off; he did what he had to do... mainly escape Azkaban and die fighting. I don't like it really when authors kill of a character only to bring him back later. That's one of my pet hates. The only instance I like it in is Aslan in CoN LWW; but then that was supposed to be allegorical of Jesus death and subsequent ressurrection. If a character is unknown to be dead in the first place then fair enough but SB died in the Department of Mysteries in the Veil of Death... so that's proof enough that he is dead; and if he isn't dead then why didn't he pop up some time during book 6? He's dead, and besides Jo has confirmed that herself; she has also said several times that he isn't coming back. Gandalf didn't die; he was flung into a pit but he didn't die; he fought the Balrog; he battled and laid exhausted when he defeated the Balrog the Higher Authority decided to promote him to Gandalf the White with new powers. No, the only way I see it coming is that Dumbledore will still provide information will be through his portrait and through memories he kept. I think that Harry will be using the Pensieve a lot in book 7 to help make his mind up on things and I think also he might stumble on the actual fight that Snape and Dumbledore had. Oh btw this is my take on the fight: DD: Kill me you young scallywag; you promised to do so if Draco couldn't to his mother. If you don't kill me then I'll smack your bottom. SS: Oh man. Kill you? Do you realise what kind of crap I'll get from Potter and the Weasleys. Why can't Draco do it? DD: You kill me or else! SS: I don't want to! (Sticks tongue out and makes a raspberry noise!) DD: Do it? SS: No. (repeats action after last sentence!) DD: Alright turn around and I'll smack your bottom you disobedient child! SS: Shan't! And so on and so on... Oh, and it's not the second invisibility cloak it's the second mirror. And I have a feeling that its Regulus Black that's going to come into the scene here; after all SB did say that "Last he heard..." and he hadn't been talking to his family since he was sixteen; plus he hated his younger brother so he's hardly going to check the facts is he... I think Regulus is actually out there somewhere and will turn up... possibly with Snape and Draco... I'd like that much more.

As far as I am concerned there are SEVERAL Snape's out there: First of all there is CANON Snape. He's the one Jo writes and he's the one that everyone has differing views of. Some of the characters I feel genuinely like him. Like Albus and Hermione; and possibly Lily. He's the one that you either love to hate or hate to love. The Snape where you don't know what side he's on. Then there is MOVIE Snape; the Snape played so deliciously by Alan Rickman; the guy that possibly is the reason why he's so damn popular in fanfiction. Even Jo blames Alan for a lot of us liking Snape, but I liked him BEFORE Alan played the role; in fact Alan playing the role just upped the anti for me. Then there is FANNON Snape. The Snape that is either Angsty, Evil, and Perverted. Or the Snape that is grumpy old soul that is actually quite nice once you break through the barriers. And then there is completely soppy Snape that will buy his partner (whatever you ship!) chocolates and flowers and quotes poetry. I personally prefer a bit of ALL the Snape's but I guess my most favourite Snape is the one that Jo herself writes. What is your favourite Snape?

I agree! I think that the idea of Draco being Snape's godfather is completely fannon. But I can understand the reasoning... Black is Potter's Godfather so, it would give Snape that extra motive and reason to pit his Godson against his enemies Godson to keep the circle going round. Although, I don't think Lucius would do the Godfather thing as it's supposed to be a Muggle thing and as its a tradition that lies basically within the Christian Church I doubt that Lucius; a pureborn Death Eater would get involved in that custom. I think the Godfather idea for Harry was Lily's idea. I could be wrong, but that's my take on it.

I try and keep mine for about three pages or so but after that I get a bit bored of writing them. 20 PAGES? Wow, um, your keyboard and computer must have been sizzling after that! If it's a PWOP (Porn With Out Plot! as I like to call them) then I guess 20 pages isn't too long as that is basically the story. If it's a PWP (Plot with Porn! I know I'm contrary aren't I? ) then it might get a bit boring after a while and you could lose the heat. So, yeah, that's my take on it.
